Finally, they will try to participate in different types of activities, to und erstand the difference of the occasions, know when to use formal language, and when to use informal language.

Living in a foreign language environment is easy for second language learners to l earn difference between formal and informal language. They are surround ed by foreign languages all day l ong, making it easier to get a sense of the language. They speak a foreign language at any time and in any place.
