Interpretation of famous quotation

Quotations:

1.The purpose of work is to remove those who are living from a state of

wretchedness and lead them into a state of blessedness.

Work can make people get out of unpleasant situation and refresh them with happiness.

2.Work is, by its very nature, about violence to the spirit as well as the body; its

about a search for daily meaning as well as daily bread; for recognition as well as cash. For astonishment rather than torpor. In short, for a sort of life rather than a Monday through Friday sort of dying.

The nature of work involves both physical and spiritual struggles. Beyond all other consideration, work is about constant embarrassment and shame you feel about yourself every day. Work is a two-sided thing: on the one hand, one has to work to make money and maintain his life, on the other hand, one gets spiritual delights and social recognition by working. Work is less boring than fascinating oneself. To sum up, the purpose of work is to search for a meaningful life rather than to go through a routine and mechanical one.

3. My object in living is to unite my avocation and me vocation as my two eyes make one in sight. Only where love and need are one, and work is a play for mortal stakes, is the deed ever really done for heaven and the future’s sake.

The purpose of my life is to combine what I enjoy doing with what I need to do for a living. It’s ideal that we enjoy what we need to do and this is what we should pursue in our whole life.

Step five: Conclusion and Homework

1. The advice from Steven Jobs

You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

2.Don’t be afraid, don’t complain, don’t compare with others find your interest, believe

in yourself, resist the temptation and insist your dream, you’ll make it.

3.Follow excellence, success will chase you.
