是每一个职场中人都必然要经历的一件事情，只不过，有的人一年用不上几次，而有的人则一个星期可能需要做N次。众所周知，自我介绍是日常工作中与陌生人建立关系、打开局面的一种非常重要的手段，因此，让自己通过自我介绍[1]或得到对方的认识甚至认可，一种非常重要的职场技术。

船员面试和其他面试一样，往往是船东筛选船员的最重要的一环。国外船东的面试具有以下特点：

船员工作是一个很特别的行业，主要体现在工作场所的特别（全球海洋和港口）和职业技术的特别性。船员面试的问题一般来说不像其他面试那样广泛和不测，而是集中在船上工作的程序和技术等方面的考察上。专业性还体现在面试语言的专业性。船员用语、船员英语往往具有本行业的特殊性，行话很多，历史悠久，其他行业并不怎么使用。

国际海运工作本身便要求船员的挑选具有很强的国际性。其一，船员工作地点是全世界的海洋和港口，要求船员通晓一两门外语，了解世界主要海域和港口或国家的地理及风土人情等等。其二，船员工作的船舶和船上的船员往往国籍复杂，当然货物也具有很强的国际性。其三，船员面试是全世界船员提供国的竞争，这就决定这

种面试的国际性。其四，船东以及考官的国际性。国际航运业本身的特点决定了很多前来中国面试的教官尽管代表某个国家的某个公司，但他们作为雇员也许不是那个国家的公民，有时，两三个考官往往不同的国家。另外，有很多外来面试的公司并不是真正的船东，而是管理公司或代理公司。

外派船员往往在收入和待遇等方面高于在国内船舶的船员，因而对应聘者的要求也相对高一些，主要是教育背景、学历、工作经历、外语水平、管理水平等方面。应该说，能够参加外派船员面试并有可能通过面试船员往往都是中国比较优秀的船员。但是，面对激烈的竞争（主要是其他船员提供国的竞争和本国船员的竞争），往往船东最终选择的高级船员并不多。

广大应该船员了解以上特点有利于在面试前做到心中有数、有的放矢。

目前，船员面试有以下四种主要方式：

口头提问和笔头回答(Face-to-face Questioning and Written Work)

船员面试中，考官最基本的办法是面对面口头提问，即考官提问，船员回答。这种方式非常普遍，也就不赘述了。但有时，考官在进行口头提问中会穿插一些要求笔答，特别是香港、台湾和新加坡等讲汉语的考官尤其如此。这种笔答题可能包括在电脑上书写一封商业信件(如Letter of Protest, Sea Protest, Circular Letter等等)、写一篇简单的英文、做一些非专业英文测试题、制作一个电子表格、阅读完一篇文章后回答一个或几个问题、直接回答一些问题等等。总之，面试中穿插的一般都不会很长、很复杂。回答这类问题时，首先不要紧张，熟悉问题要求和问题内容，要在动笔或电脑之前稍做思考，在脑海中先规划一下答案的提纲。同时，在做答时还要注意字迹清晰、书法工整、条理清楚，因为笔答的东西往往是考官能够存档并且在今后的查询中使用的东西。

电话面试(Telephone Interview)

电话面试也是一种非常通行的船员面试方式，原因是船员居住地比较分散，而船东又多在国外，对地零散外派来说，电话面试对各方面来说都是一种非常经济的办法。电话面试通常时间紧，没有时间准备。如果预约的'面试时间对你来说真是太紧，你可以要求推迟一下，以便有时间调整你的情绪和心情，也有时间大致翻阅一下常用船上英文用语和电话用语。电话面试前，最好在电话旁放一份自己的表，因为考官经常要你简单介绍一些你的工作经历和个人情

况，有一份书面简历，便于自己回答诸如船名、吨位、航行区域、工作时间、主机辅机和机型和功率等问题时得心就手。电话旁还应该放一支钢笔和一两张纸，以便面试时随时记下考官的问题，特别是比较长的问题。另外，最好在手边放上一标水，以备长时间谈话的急需之用。另外，接电话时最好在显得职业化一些，比如，电话在预约的时间响了，你可以说：“Hello, this is XXXX, a 2nd officer, speaking.”(您好，二副XXXX在接听您的电话)。另外，还有一点需要注意：接电话前，要确保电话接通后周围没有诸如机械声、汽车声、电视或收间机及儿童哭声之类的噪声；接听电话时，也不要发出吃东西、喝水或敲击键盘的声音。电话面试结束后，千万记住对考官表示感谢之辞，你可以说：“Thank you very much for your calling and interview. Hope to see you some day. Thanks.”

电脑面试(Computer Interview)

还有一些正规的大船东和管理公司可能采用电脑程序进行面试，即船员坐在电脑前，根据电脑程序的提示来回答问题。这种面试要求考生有很好的临场和较快的文字录入速度，建议广大船员在平时工作时尽量学会使用电脑工作。无纸化网络化办公将是世界办公趋势的主流，也是船上工作的趋势之一。

远程可视面试(Long-distance Visible Interview)

这是一种全新的面试方法。船东和船员不是坐在同一房间面对面地交流式面试，而是考官远在国外自己的办公室，而船员则坐在外派公司的面试房间里，双方或几方面通过可视电话电话会议或网络NET MEETING的形式进行。尽管该种面试方法会受到到设备条件的限制，并且不能使考民对应聘者有全面的了解，但这种面试可以节省经费，是一种逐渐推广的面试形式。目前，国内很外派公司已经安装了这样的面试设施。

世界主要船东的面试特点

目前来看，中国船员主要派往日本、韩国、新加坡、香港等东南亚地区的公司，希腊、法国、德国、挪威等欧洲地区的部分船东公司，以及美国、 ___等美洲地区的少数公司。因此，了解这些国家船东的基本特点也很重要。下面简单介绍一下几个主要国家和地区船东的面试习惯，供参考。

台湾船东绝大多数都说比较标准的普通话，尽管他们的很多表达法和大陆的有所区别，但是基本相似。台湾船东在面试时很少用英文提问，尽管他们对文是有要求的。但是，香港和台湾的船东提问

的技术性问题一般比较细，也比较难，因此，面试前应在专业和技术性问题多做准备，他们并不是很重视生理类问题。

I selected the Shanghai Jiao Tong University to continue my study for its best reputation on Combinatorial Optimization and Network Scheduling where my research interest lies. At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis. Research experience and academic activity When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. In 1997, I participated in simulation tool development for the scheduling system in Prof. Wang’s lab. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. In 1998, I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis %26 dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
