(youdaoCET)从样卷及13年12月新题来看,此次涉及改革题目的特点是:

1、做题时间10~15分钟(整体阅读包括选词填空、匹配和精度,共计40分钟);

2、四级样卷显示需要将10道题目信息配对到9个段落中;

3、六级样卷显示需要将10道题目信息配对到15个段落中;

4、考试说明提到,某段可能被用到两次,而某段可能完全不被涉及。

5、这类题型的出题形式为:题干给出原文的若干条细节信息,要求考生找出文中分别有这些信息的段落(即题目当中会问道:which paragraph contains the following information?)。

实际考试中,在时间和耐力的双重压迫下,无奈的考生们颇有“可能就在此段中,只因文深不知处”的感慨!

难点分析:

1、顺序原则被打破

段落细节信息配对题之所以让无数考生闻之色变,主要在于这种题目打破了解答雅思阅读题目传统的阅读技巧和解题思路。首先,作为匹配题代表,这种题型明显不会遵守其他主流题型的“顺序原则”,考生从文章开头到结尾定位的方法显然行不通;

2、题目均为长句形式

其次,题目当中的表述通常是极其复杂和繁琐的名词短语或者长难句型,在试图寻找合适的定位词之前,考生往往就业已被题干错中复杂的表述搞得云里雾里了;

例如四级样卷第51题:

The number of foreign students applying to U.S. universities decreased sharply after September 11 due to changes in the visa process.

3、定位词模糊

即使考生能够排除万难,读懂题目陈述中晦涩难懂的意思,寻找定位词仍然存在很大的障碍,因为这类题目往往不会出现非常明显的可以实践拿来主义的明显定位词(数字、时间、地点、人物、特殊字体和特殊符号等等),即使侥幸被我们碰到一个,这个定位词也通常和文章主题联系密切,且出现多次,所以并没有太大实用意义,例如上题中的U.S.;

4、两题对一段的可能性增加干扰性

最后,一般选择题至少是一对一进行对应的,如果能够成功选出一对,那么就至少可以排除一个选项。但是在段落细节信息对应题当中,四六级样卷明确提醒:You may choose a paragraph more than once.

一段可能被用两次。这样最有效的排除法在这里也就再无用武之地了。

所以,从上面四个特点不难看出,如果想从根本上解决这种题型,考试方的思路是希望考生能够从头到尾读完一遍文章,从宏观和微观两个方面全面掌握文章的结构和细节信息之后再进行解题的,但是这种思路对于阅读水平和单词量都有限

的四六级考生来说有些难

段落信息匹配题的做题攻略

一、先看题再看文章

1、段落细节信息配对题的陈述虽然都是文章细节信息,但是表述基本都是围绕文章标题或者每一段落的主题进行描述的,通过快速阅读题干部分表述,可以迅速了解文章主旨大意。

如四级样卷中Q46~Q48

熟悉四级场景词汇的同学一定认识:university, enrollment, students 名词形式,文章关于美国大学教育或学生的主题就此迅速清楚;

在考生看过文章标题Universities Branch Out之后,通过快速预览这道段落细节信息配对题的题干部分,考生可以马上了解到文章所围绕的主题是美国大学的扩张,即使题干中的每一个表述并不是文章的Topic sentence(主旨句),但是却都与文章的主题息息相关的。所以通过快速浏览这种题目的题干不失为在短时间内掌握文章主旨大意的一种方法。

解决完前两步后,相对困难的时间开始了,我们建议考生用顺序梳理原文的方式,逐一进行答案的确认。

二、一段一段速读文章,一道一道梳理题目

1、速读每一段,关注段首段尾句和段内重点单词区域(例如逻辑关系等)

段首或段尾句可以迅速告知本段主要内容,而常见阅读重点词汇及短语区域则是段内重点信息的表达。

因果转折类:but however unfortunately since because the reason…

让步关系:although though

递进关系:not only but also mot merely but

比较关系类:more even more than most

选择关系:either or or

事实罗列:for example in fact

序数词:first second at last

如四级样卷A段:

重点区域:段尾句的转折关系

2、用同意替换解决速读无法解决的段落及题目。

同意替换是阅读类题目终极解决方案,它包括单词或短语甚至句子用另一种含义表达的所有形式。相对而言,四级部分更多强调词语的同意替换,例如上题中,段落中的link变成题目中的linking。

当然,也有一定难度的题目来影响考生的分数。

如四级样卷E段:

英语四级阅读的小技巧 阅读理解是大学英语四级考试必备的部分,考生很有必必要掌握一些有用的小技巧。下面ake contribution to; have an impact/effect on这样的高频词组考过多次。 3段落信息匹配题先看题目后看。看题目时,关键词的选择很重要,直接决定你能否快速找到,找对段落。不要只选择一个关键词定位;要选择特殊词汇定位(大写,数字,连字符等);不要选择的核心词作为第一关键词定位。 4注意段落信息匹配题的题干中经常把数字写成英文的形式,而非阿拉伯数字,这样来形成干扰。请考生务必看清。比如:2020年12月的题目中用的是half,原文给的是50%;题目中用的是one tenth,原文写的是 10%。 5段落信息匹配题中,题目与原文出现同义替换时,正确几率最高。在某段出现某题干的原词时,不要贸然选择,关注一下其他信息有没有在该段落出现。 6仔细阅读定位是关键。根据出题顺序与行文顺序一致的原则,确定大体段落。较难题目中会出现题干与原文同义替换的情况,那么该同义替换的句子可能就是定位的句子。 7段落推断题中(含有 infer/conclude/imply/indicate/learn的题目),答案一般在转折处或者在段落末句。

8当在两个选项间徘徊不定时,重新审题,比对两个选项与对应句信息,同义替换的选项或与原文主旨一致的选项可能是正确答案。 9含有绝对性词汇的选项错误几率较高。如:no,all, only, must, little, always, none. 10仔细阅读要重点注意转折处(but/however/yet)信息以及递进关系(moreover/also/furthermore/in addition)信息。 英语四级阅读猜答案技巧 猜选项或排除选项的一些原则 1.选择抽象概括的选项。 阅读的正确答案,无论何种题型,一般都会表达抽象或概括。只可能原文很具体,选项把信息抽象概括化。绝对不会原文很抽象,选项把信息具体细节化。所以同学如果原文读不懂,那选项也尽量选择读不懂的选项。 2.选择包含主题词或段落核心词的选项。 我们讲过,考官喜欢在重要的信息处出题。所以很多题目都和或段落的主题有关,很多正确选项自然不可避免的包含主题词或段落核心词。所以同学如果最后选择实在没有方向,看题目对应的段落的核心词或主题词,如果能找到,就选择包含这些词的选项。 主题词:题干中反复出现的名词;各段段首反复出现的名词。

英语四、六级段落信息匹配题 一、英语四级段落信息匹配题是什么? 长篇阅读理解篇章后附有10个句子,每句一题。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落,要求考生找出与每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能对应两题,有的段落可能不对应任何一题。四级考试需要各位同学做的是,大家需要去看十个左右的段落,然后去匹配十个信息点。但是到六级当中,我们的难度就要增加了,我们见到的情况是六级当中变成了15个段落,去匹配十个信息点。但总体来看,不管题型怎么变,其实学习方法没变,还是仍旧需要大家提高阅读的能力,比如说读文章的时候,是不是直接拿英语读,如果读快速阅读的时候,还是拿中文边翻译边读的话,会发现阅读速度一直会比较慢,所以那么长的文章很难找到细节,所以大家一定要养成拿英语直接阅读的这样一种习惯,这样才能保证我们的阅读速度又快又准。 二、信息匹配题难点分析 1. 考生难以按照阅读题一贯遵循的“顺序原则”解题。由于这一题型要求考生把细节信息与其所在的段落进行匹配,因此细节信息的排列绝对是“乱序的”,这就意味着考生从文章开头到结尾按顺序定位的方法是行不通的。

2. 题干信息复杂,考生难以迅速抓住要领。题干中的细节信息通常是极复杂和繁琐的名词短语或长难句,考生往往在寻找到合适的定位词之前,就已经被题干信息的复杂表述弄得晕头转向了。 3. 考生难以寻找到合适的定位词。即使考生能够读懂题干中晦涩难懂的细节信息,但也会在寻找定位词时遇到很大障碍。因为题干提供的细节信息中往往不会出现非常明显的定位词(如数字、时间、地点、人物、特殊字体和特殊符号等)。即使考生能够找到一个定位词,这一定位词也
