I.Package Information
※ The Yellow area at the top of module is 2.4G print PCB antenna, under this area, please make the PCB clean without copper and traces. Please let the antenna area leave far away from metal as possible as you can, usually, the antenna part of Bluetooth module should be placed at the edge of your PCBA.
J.Typical Application
Since Bluetooth 4.0(BLE) came out, the apple phones started from iPhone 4S could support BT4.0, the terminal developers can directly use BT4.0 for product development, and no longer requires complex apple MFI authorization and corresponding payment, therefore, it makes BT4.0 become the best choice of developing Bluetooth peripherals of iOS.
But for Android, especially the previous versions before Android 4.3, which don’t support BT4.0, but only support traditional Bluetooth SPP protocol. Hence the traditional Bluetooth developers have to use two kinds of solution for their terminal products: SPP module for Android, and BT4.0 module for iOS. It caused the rising cost accordingly and more difficult to use for customers.
