What the illustration attempts to mirror is by no means simple: different (or ‘D’ifferent?) people have different attitudes to life misfortunes.

It goes far beyond any reasonable dispute that life itself is a road full of success and setbacks or fascination and frustration. FaAssay one:

Depicted in the cartoon are some people who are sitting in front of their computers, surfing the internet and pretty enjoying the convenience that hi-tech brings. However, what the illustration virtually attempts to mirror goes even further: dose the internet actually shorten the distance between people, or go opposite?

Every coin has two sides. Internet, one of the symbols of the third industrial revolution, on the one hand, has permeated into every corner of daily life especially the field of social communication. SNS—Social Network Site—has become such a kind ofnecessitythat you can never imagine one day when you don not “twitter” or renew you e-sings. That internet does offer us a method of efficiency by which we can get informed of some anecdotes happening around and share feelings as well, is of no doubt. To some extent, internet is narrowing the distance.

However, it is string and surprising to find that some people use the online communication to replace the normal contacts with friends. They are not surfing the internet but confined to the “net”. Have they ever give one thought to the fact that a text like “LOL” shorting for “laugh out loudly”, which is widely used in online talking, can never express the same as a warm smile you take face to face. Sadly to say, people are separating because of this big influence, and our ability to express and communicate is under degradation.

As far as I am concerned, we should drive our attention from the computer screen to the real world, where talking with friends in front of a stove can be so enjoyable a moment.
