基于ANSYS的参数化水平集结构拓扑优化方法

Abstract

Structural topology optimization is a design method that can achieve optimal performance of a structure by changing the material distribution in the design domain under certain constraints. Topology optimization has changed the dependence of traditional structural design methods on design experience, shortened the cycle of product development, and has been widely applied in the field of structural optimization. At present, the topology optimization software emerges in an endless stream. The main commercial software is using the variable density method, that is, the structure unit with a density of 0-1 is obtained, and its optimal structure often has the disadvantage of unsmooth boundary. In this paper, a parameterized horizontal set structure topology optimization method is adopted. With the help of the two development platform of ANSYS, the calculation stability of the parameterized horizontal set method and the display and output of the model are studied. The functional modules of the structure topology optimization can be developed directly to obtain the smooth boundary. The main work is as follows:

First, a parameterized level set topology optimization method is implemented based on the two development platform of ANSYS. In the initialization stage of the parameterized level set method, a fast method of generating holes is proposed. In the optimal calculation stage, the computational stability of the parameterized level set method under the ANSYS platform is analyzed. The calculation stability of the method is raised by adding two parameters of the iterative scale factor and the iterative rate of change.

Secondly, based on the two development platform of ANSYS, the overall framework of the structural topology optimization function module is designed. The geometric method and isoparametric element method are used to solve the equivalent density calculation problem of the two-dimensional and three-dimensional structural boundary elements, and the development of the two-dimensional and three-dimensional structural topology optimization power modules is realized. Using OpenGL computer graphics interface, independent window is developed to display the optimized structure, and the optimization module visualization module is developed. The function of the structural topology optimization module is tested by an example.

Then, combined with the engineering example, the structural topology optimization module is validated. An example of topology optimization for bearing seat and aircraft door components is presented to demonstrate the application effect of the parametric level set topology optimization method based on ANSYS.

Finally, the paper summarizes the whole work and prospects for the future research and development direction.
