Ladies and gentlemen,

Good morning! I’m so pleasure to stand here to give a speech to you. My topic today is about Albert Einstein, one ofthe greatest scientist of the 20th century.

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany in 1879. Eins-tein's father is a businessman. He owns a factory that produces electrical equipment. As a child, Einstein was very quiet, and he often alone to kill time. He had a slow language and had difficulty in reading. However, he is especially in-terested in the principles of things and often raises many questions.

When Einstein was 5 years old, his father gave him a com-pass. He was surprised to find that the compass needle always points to the north, so he asked his father and uncle what reason to move the pointer. However, it was hard for them to answer the magnetic and gravitational forces, but Einstein still spent a lot of time thinking about the problem.

Einstein won the Nobel prize for physics in 1921. His prize was not due to the theory of relativity, but because he had

discovered the law of the photoelectric effectwhich has driven the development of modern electronics, including radio and television. While Einstein became a celebrity, he had few close friends and felt lonely. He said,“The physi c-ists say that I am a mathematician, and the mathematicians say that I am a physicist. I am a completely isolated man and though everybody knows me, there are very few people who really know me.”

Einstein put the last 25 years of his life in the "unified field theory". He wanted to find a general mathematical formula that links all the fields of physics. But Einstein didn’t finish this work until he departed from this life at the age of 76.

I began to learn English when I was 8 years old.At that moment,I do not like English.I connot remember all the words which I have learnt.I think it is very difficult for me to learn it well.So I cannot read English loudly and I never answer the questions in the English classes. Even if my English is very bad, my teacher stll encourages me to learn English hard and he gives me some ways to learn English. He tells me to read passages loudly and listen to the English tapes everyday morning.In order to progress my writing he also asks me to write some articles at times. I like listen to the English songs,he suggests me to sing the English songs.As a result of his ways my English becomes well. Now, I like English very well and I still use the ways he tells me.I know I must learn English even hard.
