Fact Sheet
Qorivva MPC5777M MCU
Overview
The 32-bit Qorivva MPC5777M MCU is built on Power Architecture ? technology and is our first powertrain device with quad processing cores operating greater than 200 MHz. The
MPC5777M addresses the requirements of direct injection, advanced diesel, transmission, hybrid electric and full electric powertrain applications to meet the most extreme regulatory and environmental emission qualifications.
The MPC5777M offers unprecedented performance at 300 MHz per core (50 percent more than MPC5746M) and scalability from 2.5 MB flash up to 8 MB of memory. This device also provides customers task flexibility and parallel processing by leveraging the I/O processor to offload computational cores. The MPC5777M also includes next-generation security protection such as a hardware security module and tamper detection module, deterring software hacking and aftermarket tuning which affects unauthorized warranty returns.
The MPC5777M is part of our SafeAssure program, designed to help system manufacturers more easily achieve compliance with functional safety standards. The SafeAssure program is built around a multicore safety architecture to assist customers in ISO26262 functional safety certification for ASIL-D safety integrity. In order to minimize additional software and
