学习描述健康状况的表达方式

学习表达情绪的词。

1. all the time 一直，始终；经常

It’s a really useful book –– I use it all the time.

这真是一本很有用的书–––我一直在用它。

2. go to the movies 去看电影

辨析：cinema film movie

（1）cinema：电影院，movie threat

What’s on at the cinema?

（2）film （英）影片，电影

Have you seen any good films recently?

（3）movie（美）影片，电影

a Hollywood movie 好莱坞影片

the movies ＝the cinema 电影院

3. I know who you mean. 我知道你说的是谁。

I know what you mean. 我明白你的意思。

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. Things like that drive me crazy too.

4. go to the beach 去海边

辨析：beach shore bank coast seaside

shore: 表示海或湖岸边的地带通常用shore

At night he would stand on the shore and gaze out to sea.

晚上，他会站在岸边凝视远处的海面。

There was a little cabin on the opposite shore.

对岸有间小屋。

bank：河流的两岸称为banks。

The edges of a river are its banks.

coast：一个国家或其一大片土地的沿海陆地称为coast。

The Atlantic coast of Spain 西班牙的大西洋海岸

seaside：在英国英语里，seaside（海滨）是指可供游乐的场所。

a holiday at the seaside 在海滨度假

beach：指可供游乐的场所（海滨），在美国英语里用beach表示。In summer, my mother used to take me to the beach.

以前在夏天，我母亲经常带我去海滩玩。

另外，在英国英语和美国英语里面，都可以用beach表示海滩。They walked hand in hand along the beach. 他们手牵手沿着海滩走。

5. It sounds like you are great friends. 你们听上去是很不错的朋友。sound：（系动词）听起来，看起来，好像

sound like –Serge’s idea sounds like fun. 瑟奇的想法听起来很有趣。sound good/bad/a wful

--- Istanbul sounds really exciting. 伊斯坦布尔听起来真让人兴奋。

--- Sue sounds a strange person. 苏这个人好像很奇怪

6. Make jokes 开玩笑

make a joke = crack a joke 讲笑话（say something funny）

tell a joke 讲笑话（tell a short funny story）

play a joke on sb 戏弄某人，跟某人开玩笑

7. get into trouble 带来麻烦，惹麻烦

Don’t copy my work or we’ll both get into t rouble.

不要抄我的作业，不然我们两人都会有麻烦的。

8. get good grade 取得好成绩

grade （美）成绩，分数

You need good grades to go to college. 你要有好的成绩才能上大学。

1. 功能句：

（1）What’s the matter with…?

……怎么了？……出什么毛病了？

What’s the matter with Bill?

（2）表示情绪的词汇：

bored tired hungry thirty worried hot cold scared

（3）给出建议的表达方式：

Why don’t you…?

Why not … ?

--- Why don’t you contact Eric?

你为什么不与埃里克联系？

---Why not make your own Christmas cards instead of buying them?

你为什么不自己做圣诞贺卡而要去买呢？

why not? 也可以用来表示“干嘛不”，表示同意某建议或想法。

----It might be nice to see a film this afternoon.

---Yes. Why not?

2. 描述健康状况的表达方式：

（1）常见的病症：

stomachache toothache headache sore throat backache

bellyache earache he artache

（2）---- I have a headache.

---- I have a sore throat.

---- I feel a sharp pain in my back.

（4）take medicine 服药

Do you take your medicine on time?

你按时服药了么？
