医学伦理英语讲稿

Hello,everyone.Today I will give a speech about medical ethics.What I want to talk about include two points: medical ethics in present China and the ways to improve medical ethics.

At first,let's speak about the first point.

In the past several years, China had gotten accomplishment such as the expansion of research area,the update of research method and the promotion of research topic and so on. Apart from those,the medical ethics was developed harmoniously with society,economic,psychology and philosophy. furthermore, it gradually solved and explained the new phenomenon and some intractable problems.

At present,Medical Ethics is being in dispute.Why? there are several aspects of problem.first,medical ethics are concerned with moral questions.As to an actual example,in 2006,a 26 year old woman from Sichuan wanted to take out the alive sperm from his husband who had died. This news aroused controversy in medical ethics.Some experts held the opinion that it would break the law to operate to a single woman of artificial insemination.Besides,they thought that it was unfair to the child. Second,more and more people particularly the olds worry about the health.They are afraid of getting harm or any bad changes.

Then ,as for the medical ethics education present situation,we had to acknowledge that there are still lots of disadvantages and problems in both parts of theory and practice compared to some other countries all around the world. Even though some universities such as the Harbin Medical University had took the educated mode of topics discussions and had made progresses,the best mode had not been investigated systematically and promoted.

After speaking the above words, I believed that some of you have had a knowledge of medical ethics in present China.Then, what I will next are the ways to improve medical ethics.

In the first place ,it is important to improve the education of medical ethics. there are some steps : strengthen the significance of medical ethics to the medical education; build up a medical ethics educated system which is fit to the condition of China; promote the education of medical moral thinking.,etc.

In the second place,make the study and research be geared to international standards.Not only should we spread our advantages and accomplishment, but also to study other countries' advanced technology and theory.

In the third place,build up a perfect law which could balanced both humanism and the right about medical ethics in order to make it develop in a right way.

There must be many other parts of ways .Because of the limitation of time, I will not list cited them one by one.
