1教学目标

1.Knowledge aim

Master some key words and phrases, such as, classical, folk, jazz, traditional, pop, rock ’n’ roll, musician, pianist, perform and so on.

2.Ability aims

(1). Understand Kong’s story and strengthen students’ ability to extract,analyze, judge, conclude key information from the context.

(2). Talk about Kong’s story, participate in language practice activities, develop studen ts’ ability of thinking and expressing in English.

3.Emotion aim

Learn the spirit of Kong Xiangdong and realize the ways to succeed. Try to become a determ ined, strong-willed and persistent man.

2学情分析

Students are from grade 1, common class. Most students lacks enthusiasm, specific aims and i ndependent thinking ability. But students are interested in pictures, songs, videos and stor ies. If students’ enthusiasm is aroused, they would learn and use English actively.

3重点难点

1.Understand the main idea as a whole.

2. Use reading skills like skimming and scanning to extract and identify the key words and u se prediction and other reading strategies to foster students’ ability to read independentl y.
