2) Students can remember and use the words about transport.

3) Students can change “take the/a…to..” into “get/go to…by…”Language skills:

Students can use the skills “listening, speaking, reading and writing”. Especially the listening and speaking skills. They can use the right listening skill and steps to complete the listening exercise in 1b. They also can communicate with others with “How do you get/go to…? I take the…to …/ I get to…by/on…, How does he/she/XX get to…? He/She takes the…to…/ He/She gets to…by/on…”.

Learning strategy:

Students should learn to learn by themselves sometimes, and in class, they should have cooperative learning with their classmates by pair work or group work.

Personal objectives:

Tell the students “Safety is very important, we must follow the traffic rules anytime.”

Culture awareness:

Different traffic rules between China and the western countries. For example, it’s different in China and in England.

Our School教学设计教学内容分析 指导思想与理论基础 《英语课程标准》中把“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣”放在英语教学任务的首位,那么要想使学生对英语的学习产生兴趣,最关键的一点就是学习内容应该和学生的生活实际息息相关,尽可能地贴近他们的生活。而本单元的教学内容正是学生真实生活的反映,它的核心内容是学习有关学校教室所在的楼层。本节课中我力求合理利用和开发学生学校生活中的资源,把所学知识与学生生活实际相结合,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,从生活经验和认知水平出发,发展学生的综合语言运用能力。让学生在活动中学习、巩固语言,在情景中应用语言,激发学生学习语言的热情。 教材分析 本节课是闽教版五年级下册第一单元Our school的第一课时,本单元的学习内容主要是运用地点句型描述学校各种教室所在的楼层和运用序数词进行回答,学生们在五年级上学期已学过疑问词where有利于本课的教学。在教授本课时,学生们能用之前所学的基数词作为铺垫从而引出序数词。而本课序数词的教学,可为下一课日期的表达打下基础,如lesson 2 的课文学习就有涉及生日的表达(教学内容的地位及作用)。本节课作为 Our school的第一课时,利用小学生喜欢故事的特点,在学习中通过对故事情节和图片的分析,有利于小学生理解人物的对话;并且在学生学习新单词的同时通过一些插图来帮助学生对一些单词的学习,如:附有dining room,teacher’s offices,computer room,music room,library等的插图有助于学生对地点名词的掌握,同时运用陈述句描述地点所在的楼层有助于学生拓展思维,运用本课所学地点句型进行提问,更好的掌握本课的重点句型(编排意图)。通过学习本课内容,教育学生无论处在哪个教室哪个楼层,都应养成爱护校园环境及公共场所的好习惯(情感和文化意识)。 学情分析 五年级学生既是四年级的衍生又是六年级的铺垫。无论是其无意注意还是其具体思维都在向有意注意与抽象思维发展着,整体性格较为活泼,思维活跃且富有表现力。竞争意识较强强,注重精神上的表扬,在学习过程中敬佩较为优秀的同学。但在学习过程中自制力仍然不够强,需要他人的监督与指导。本节课是五年级下册,学生对上册初步接触的地点副词where的基础上进一步学习where is your classroom? (2)把表示高兴的卡片贴在黑板上,或是画一个笑脸,让学生自然的说出笑,或是高兴的,然后播放录音,让学生通过录音模仿happy的读音,板书,分组读单词,并且做动作。以此方法教授sad。 (3)“小老师”领读单词,“Quickly answer”快速单词卡。(两个词都比较简单,练习时间不用很长。) (4)老师做动作,带表情说句子。“I’m happy(可做高兴状)”,“I’m sad(可做伤心状)”。学完单词后,我们只要做出这个动作,学生就能很简易的说出这个句子,鼓励学生大胆模仿。T: I’m happy接着说I feel happy!引出feel,板书这个句子,feel用彩色粉笔写,领读feel。 (5)出示歌谣:Happy、Happy、Happy!Sad、Sad、Sad!I feel happy!
