开篇语

本讲在高中学习中的地位及考查形式:

改错题型

改错题型--题型改变

短文改错题型的设置方式会有沿袭,但不再是一行一错或无错。改为:短文中有10处语言错误,要求你在错误的地方增加、删除或者修改某个单词。每处错误及其修改均仅限一词,而且只允许修改10处,多者(从第11处起)不计分。这样的错误设置更接近于真实的文章改错,但是改错难度将明显增大。

短文改错题型的命题特点

《考试说明》在短文改错部分中对学生应具备的改错能力要求是:“本题给出一篇约100单词的短文,要求考生对标有题号的每一行做出判断,如有错,将其改正。”同时对改错题型中可能出现的错误做了一个大致的范围规定。如:“错误类型包括词法,句法,行文逻辑

等。”其目的就是考查考生在语篇中综合运用英语的准确性。

按照命题者的意图,短文改错的难度并不大,错题的设置集中在学生经常容易出现的词汇、词组搭配,句式结构的混用等方面,但历年考生成绩很不理想,充分表明短文改错在高考中的重要性。首先,短文改错题要求学生有语言的整体感,能从整体段落的内容、结构和特点出发,全面考虑问题。其次,考生必须依据自己所获得的知识,根据句子与句子之间的有机联系,在语法上和语言上与原作意图保持一致,从而做出正确的判断。所以说,短文改错题具有知识性强,测试难度大和能力要求高等特点。因此这种题型就成了考查考生语言能力的主要形式。

短文改错题的错误类型及错误设置

短文改错题可谓是方寸天地,变化万千。但也不是深不可测。只要你认真练习,掌握规律,就可以游刃有余,得心应手。如何做到得心应手,首先考生应该对本题的错误类型及项目设置有明确的了解。这样才能做到心中有数,有的放矢。为了考生做好短文改错题,现将该题的错误类型及错误设置项目归纳如下:

短文改错的错误类型主要集中表现在以下几个方面:

错词。

在近三年的短文改错题中,此类错误占的比例较大,就类型而言,可谓是五花八门,多种多样。错误的类型主要集中在以下几个方面:

A. 主谓语的一致。

B. 习惯结构是否完整。如动词,名词,形容词组搭配中的介词、副词是否正确。

C. 冠词:定冠词和不定冠词的用法是否得体;名词的数与格是否合乎要求。

D. 连词的正确用法。关系代词,关系副词使用得当,语法成分是否有重复和遗漏。

E. 非谓语动词的用法与形式是否正确。

F. 代词。如人称代词,不定代词,反身代词及it的形式主语和形式宾语的逻辑意义是否一

致,有无混用现象。

G. 根据全文的逻辑关系,平行关系和转折关系之间的选词是否得当正确,前后是否一致。

H. 谓语动词的时态、语态是否符合上下文的要求。

漏词。

此类错误的设置为数不多,占得比例不大。考生在复习时只要仔细认真,不难掌握。错误的设置主要集中在冠词,介词,副词等虚词,这类错误与惯用搭配有关。表现如下:

A. 动词后缺少与之搭配的介词和副词。

B. 动词不定式前缺少to。

C. 习惯用语的结构不完整。

D. 名词前缺少应有的冠词或其他限定词。

多词。

此类错误为数不多,难度却大,如果考生语言功底差,那就更难发现,它们与功能性词组有关。如:介词、副词、冠词、代词、助动词或关联词等。

应该注意的问题

(1)注意分行的技巧性。上一行的末尾和下一行的开始是设置错误的所在,考生往往容易忽略,因此要注意它们之间的语法关系和逻辑关系。

(2)考生在判断错误时要注意以句子为单位,而不是以行为单位。这是因为短文改错的错误设置是以行为单位的。我们判断错误却是以句子为单位进行的。

(3)注意上下文的逻辑关系。短文改错题中错误的设置与短文上下文中的人称、语态、时态有着密切的关系,如果教条地以句为单位进行判断,忽略上下文的逻辑关系,考生就会犯“见树不见林”的错误,造成判断上的失误。

(4)要注意每行中的关键词和关键结构。就是由于这个关键词和关键结构的存在,考生在运用该结构容易出错,命题者也就往往在这里设置错误。

答题的方法与技巧

答题的方法与步骤很多,但笔者归纳起来不外乎以下几种:

读全文而知大意。考生必须在弄懂全文大意和作者意图的基础上对照上下文逐行进行研读分析判断,找出上下文之间的逻辑关系,检查句子结构是否完整,语气是否连贯,是否有与原文不符的地方,起承转合是否符合文义。一些显而易见的错误随着通读而浮出水面。考生一定要注意改错的精神,分析要以句子为理解单位,查找错误却要以行为单位。

综合分析找错误。短文改错是对考生运用英语综合能力的测试。因此考生要运用所学语言知识,根据不同的情况分别进行答题(即错词、漏词、多词)。

先难后易各个击破。在做短文改错题时我们希望一气呵成固然很好,然而命题者却不这么想,所设计的错误虽然难度不大,也绝不是唾手可得。因此考生可以先易后难,这样一部分错误找出来后,短文的大致面貌基本可见,难度也随之降低。再通过逐字逐行分析判断,错误随之减少,考生信心大增。剩余的错误通过认真的甄别,就可以迎刃而解。

找准突破口,选好切入点。考生在做题时应该分析句子结构,以句子的主、谓、宾、状、补等语法成分为切入点。避免盲目性。以观察句子成分的前后一致性为突破口。这样操作性强,可信度高,错误容易发现。

掌握好短文的第一句。时态的错误几乎是每年短文改错中必然设置的内容。短文的第一句往往就是整篇文章时态的基调。考生可以有目的地检查每一句子的谓语动词的时态与上下文、语境,以及该句的时间状语是否一致。这类题已屡见不鲜。

复读全文,敲定答案

做完短文改错题后,考生要回头重读全文验证答案,将初步改错的短文再次细读,检查验证所做的答案是否能使短文语气流畅,逻辑发展合乎情理,语篇结构严密完整。对个别吃不准的词语,要仔细甄别,认真推敲,绝不放过一个错误。总之,“短文改错”要求的知识面广,能力高,只要有扎实的基本功,这些方法方可奏效。

高考短文改错满分为10分,分数不多但是每一分都很关键。很多同学在做此题时会遇到以下几点困惑:

第一、拿过题来不知如何下手;

第二、特别是在读不懂文章的时候,或丢掉不做或草草了事,得分率很低。面对以上两个主要困惑,从有效掌握解题思路和熟悉出题规律,以及破解题目关键两大处入手,此类题目就会迎刃而解,为你高考的成功之路再添一股强有劲的动力。

解题思路(三步解题法):

第一步:快速浏览全文,把握文章的主要时态、人称及文章的主旨大意,顺便标记自己一眼就能看出的错误。

第二步:细读文章的每一句话。一般要结合文章的前后句以及出题规律来做题。

第三步:代入已经修改完成的答案通读全文,看其是否通顺。

注意:在修改过程当中,一定要相信自己的第一感觉。即一般来说,第一次填写的答案正确率比较高,没有十足地把握不宜轻易改正!

出题规律以及破解关键

高考短文改错出题人一般会在以下八个方面进行出题。掌握出题规律之后做题便会事半功倍!动词:

(1)主要考查能力:时态、主谓是否一致、固定搭配。

(2)出题形式:①时态混用Then the trouble started. We can not open the door.

So we asked the policeman for help.

②主谓不一致There were a football game on TV last Saturday evening.

③固定搭配I have given up smoke. The dog doesn’t like the smell.

名词

(1)主要考查能力:单复数混用。(2)出题形式:

单复数混用

Helen is seventeen year old. She is very busy.

注意:代词单复数混用类似。

As for a friendship, we can readily find them in our classmates and other people around us.

形容词/副词

(1)主要考查能力:两者之间是否混用。

(2)出题形式:

形容词与副词混用。即该用形容词的地方原文用了副词,该用副词的地方原文用了形容词。

①副词代替正确形容词出现在文章当中。

During the football season, Helen is much busier than usually.

②形容词代替正确副词出现在文章当中。

As the time clock showed one minute and forty-two seconds left in the game, she began cheering excited, “Come on-get going!”

介词

(1)主要考查能力:(特别是与动词的)固定搭配。(2)出题形式:

①介词省略I’m sure you will get rid the sorrow and unhappiness caused by the disaster.

②介词多余My wife is also happy because of I have given up smoking.

③介词用错(一般为固定搭配) I pick out her false hair and said, “Don’t be sad, Miss.”

连词

主要考查能力:前后两句话之间的衔接关系。

常考三种关系:

but 转折and 并列because 原因

①One day, my wife and I went shopping at a store. We drove the car but we had a lot of things to buy.

②Chatting on line, students can more freely express their feelings and opinions, but improve their English if they are talking with native speakers.

句式

(1)主要考查能力:常考that与what或which/how与what之间的转换。

(2)出题形式:

①She never has enough time for that she wants to do.

注意:这一形式是改错常考点。

②We Chinese people have always been concerned about which has happened in your area.

冠词

(1)主要考查能力:句中冠词是否多余。(2)出题形式:

①冠词多余I sat in the front of the TV at 7 o’clock, when the game just began.

②冠词遗漏As we all left home at early age, we met lots of problems in our daily life.

非谓语动词

一、考点规律分析

短文改错对非谓语动词的考查主要涉及不定式符号to 的有无,介词后该使用动词的什么形式

(用动名词),并列结构中几个非谓语动词是否一致,动词用作主语时用何种形式(可用动名词或不定式,但不能用动词原形)等。

一、考点规律分析

短文改错对冠词的考查主要涉及冠词的误加和漏用,有时也考查不定冠词与定冠词以及零冠词的用法区别(包括a 与an 的区别)。其中,涉及最多的是,当一个单数可数名词表示泛指时,其前漏用不定冠词;另外,冠词在一些习语中的用法也是一个重要考点。

In a second experiment, 54 children completed the same alternative-uses task. To protect privacy, it recognizes only those who have agreed to participate. And the app's creators say it automatically deletes users' data after an event. 顺序产生了巨大的词序差异: 汉语次信息先出现;英语主信息先出现 再如: 我喜欢那个女孩子 我喜欢那个穿红衣服的女孩子 我喜欢那个穿红衣服的不喜欢我的女孩子 这三个句子的核心内容都是:I like that girl.(与:“我喜欢那个女孩子”词序一致,但是,在添加了其它部分后,表达顺序全变样了!) 再如: 我打死一只苍蝇 我用手打死一只苍蝇 我用手打了三次打死一只苍蝇 我用手打了三次并在我助理的帮助下打死了一只苍蝇 这四个句子的核心内容都是:I killed a fly.(与“我打死一只苍蝇”词序一致,但是,在添加了其它部分后,表达顺序全变样了!) 逗号原则 在一个句子的前面如果有内容,那么,请记住: 1.不到3个单词时,可以用逗号与后面句子分隔开来,也可以不用逗号分隔,具体情况根据说话人自己确定的停顿语气长短来确定。 示例1:At last he stopped playing the piano. 示例2:Sadly he picked up the broken glass and went into the room. 2.达到或超过3个单词时,必须用逗号与后面句子分隔开来。
