英语听力教程第二册教案

一、教学总体情况介绍

1 专业方向

外国语学院0301、0303、0305班英语教育、旅游英语、外贸英语专业方向的学生。

2．培养规格

培养规格为三年制大专毕业生。

3．教材

教材选用高等教育出版时出版的普通高等教育“九五”国家级重点教材《英语听力教程》1---3 册张民伦主编。

4．学生基础分析

学生入学时英语程度参差不齐，英语听力没有经过专门训练。本课程学生入学要求为：学完高级中学课本，要求听懂教师的课堂用语以及对课文内容所作的解释；听懂他人以较慢的语速谈论日常生活；听懂基本没有生词、题材熟悉、难度略低于高三所学课文的语段，理解正确率达到70%。但有很多学生未能达到此要求。

5 听力课程在专业培养方案中的地位及作用

听是语言交际的重要方面, 在对外交往中，听力水平的高低直接影响着人们互相理解和工作效率。随着国际交流的日渐频繁和电讯技术的迅猛发展，提高英语听力的能力显得尤为重要。

听力课程是我院英语专业学生的主要课程之一, 听力课的教学任务是系统的训练和培养学生的听英语的能力，通过组织学生听大

量精选的各种题材和题裁的优声材料，培养他们听英语时的快速反应能力和理解能力。根据我校高职教育的特点：突出学生的语言应用能力，在教学中注重培养学生听英语时的快速反应能力和理解能力，从而达到提高学生的听力理解和口头表达能力，加深对英语国家的政治、经济、社会、文化方面的认识和了解。

6．教学基本情况介绍

本课程以培养听力技能为主线。通过系统的听力专门技能的单项及综合训练，培养学生的快速反应、准确辨别、分析推理、归纳总结、信息处理及记录和记忆等能力。

本课程的教学重点为：在听力理解方面通过多种形式的训练，帮助学生初步克服听力障碍，听懂英语国家人士在一般社交场合的交谈和相当于中等难度的听力材料，能理解大意、抓住主要论点或情节，能根据所听材料进行分析、领会说话人的态度、感情和真实意图，并用英语简要地做笔记。在基础阶段结束时，学生应能听懂“美国之音”（正常速度）和英国广播公司国际新闻的主要内容。在英语口头表达能力方面，要求学生达到：(a)能利用已掌握的英语比较清楚地表达自己的思想，在遇到想不起的单词或没有把握的结构时能运用交际策略绕过难点达到交际的目的；（b）能准确掌握诸如询问、请示、建议、忠告等交际功能。在不同的场合，对不同的人用恰当、得体的语言形式去体现不同的交际功能；（c）树立主动开口讲英语的信心，培养讲英语的热情和兴趣；（d）逐步达到在英语口头表达方面准确与流利的结合。

二、课时分配和进度计划

三、各章节教学目的及要求

本教材主要供课内精听使用，第二册共18单元，每单元约需三学时左右，每周两课时，共需54课时完成。但是提高听力仅靠精听是远远不够的。希望教师针对各自学生的实际情况，有计划地指导并组织好课外泛听及其它相关的学习活动。只有精与泛、质与量的科学结合才能实现英语听力的飞跃。

本教材第二册, 共包括号18个单元, 内容为人们日常生活及语言交际中常用的话题, 听能训练侧重于关键词的选择、要点记录和大意归纳等, 同时复习和强化第一册中的部分单项技能.第单元由六个部分组成;

第一部分为准备性练习, 主要包括预习生词、听小说对话和短文,

帮助学生进行积极思维和听的状态;

第二和第三部分为每个单元的重点部分, 贯穿某项技能和微技能的训练。为了降低学习难度、这两个部分的听力内容有时采用两种语速来表述，目的是试图在半真实与较真实的语言材料之间架设学习和过渡的桥梁。同时，也为教师因材施教提供一些条件；

第四部分主要为听写填空，听力材料多为相关领域的热门话题或科技新发展介绍，内容性，生词量大，学习者可以将听与阅读结合起来，以增加语言输入量、扩大知识面；

第五部分为语言真实性较高的听力材料，通过具有挑战性的练习形式，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高训练强度，锻炼和发展学生的记忆能力：

第六部分对本单元的生词和词组进行归纳，以帮助学生复习巩固，克服听力教学中由于强调瞬时记忆而忽视词汇积累和语言应用的倾向。

四．教具和教学方法

录音、录像、电视、电影、计算机等现代化教学手段对于提高英语教学质量，作用显著，应充分利用，大力推广。要进一步开展电教设备用于英语教学的研究和试验，开展计算机辅助教学的研究和试验，加强各种教学软件的建设。

各种教学方法都是一定历史背景和社会环境下的产物，英语听力课的教学方法，要立足于我校实际（包括教学的实际需要，客观的教学条件和师生的实际水平），博采众长。要求教师以高度事业心

和责任感充分发挥主动性和创造性，针对不同教学对象，积极探索出适合在我校条件下完成教学任务的教学方法体系。不论采取何种方法，都必须有利于充分调动学生的学习积极性、主动性和培养学生的独立工作能力。

五．计划课时

本教材第二册, 共包括18个单元, 每单元约需三学时左右，每周两课时，共需54课时完成。

六．作业

课堂上要求学生完成课本上的全部作业。课后积累词汇背单词。课堂外要求学生自主练习听力，完成《大学英语听力》1------4册的全部练习，并鼓励学生每天收听英语广播或看英语电视。

Unit Three: A Sweet，Sweet Home

Teaching focus:

The teaching focus of this unit is the understanding of spatial relationships and the understanding of some descriptions of houses and furniture.

Unit Four: Going to School ( I )

Teaching focus:

The teaching focus of this unit is the understanding of utterances describing people’s appearance, behavior, and their thoughts and feelings.

Unit Five: Going to School ( II )

Teaching focus:

The teaching focus of this unit is the understanding of utterances describing people’s appearance, behavior, and their thoughts and feelings.

Unit Six: The Computer: a Necessary Evil?

Teaching focus

The teaching focus of this unit is the understanding of some simple descriptions about the functions and mechanisms of different kinds of computers.

Unit Seven: Earning and Spending Money Wisely

Teaching focus

The training focus of this unit is the quick recognition of information concerning some wise ways of earning and spending money. Therefore the understanding of and a quick response to bargain prices offered in advertisement also become important.

Unit Eight: Choice V ersus Chance

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the understanding of some facts and ideas on jobs and careers.

Unit Nine: Review ( I )

Teaching focus

The teaching focus of this unit is to review. The listening activities can be used as a test.

Unit Ten: Smoking Kills

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the understanding of descriptions of some smoke-related illnesses and a number of other research results found in tobacco smoking.

Unit Eleven: Eating the Right Things

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the quick recognition of some

important words and the understanding of some new concepts about food.

Unit twelve: Are you Fit and Healthy?

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the identification of key words and the summary of major points.

Unit Thirteen: About Y ourself

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the understanding of descriptions about our body, the immune system and the causes and results of some infections diseases.

Unit Fourteen: Safety First

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the understanding of instructions and advice on safety.

Unit Fifteen: Sportsmanship and Championship

Teaching focus:

The training focus of this unit is the quick response to numbers and the understanding of some descriptions of body postures and signals. Unit Sixteen: “Have Fun”

Teaching focus :

The training focus of this unit is the quick recognition and selection

of useful information from the monologues, the conversations , the TV program recommendations and the recorded telephone messages.

Unit Seventeen: For a Cleaner Planet

Teaching focus :

The training focus of this unit is the understanding of descriptions of different kinds of pollution in present-day society.

Unit Eighteen: Review ( II )
