Answer either/both of the following questions. Your response to each should not be more than 2 pages (12 points, single space). Your bibliography for each should include at least one research article published in any journal. Also list all the review journal articles or book chapters you have consulted.

1. Describe a neuroanatomical technique for tracing neuronal connections not named

and described in your Brodal textbook (pp. 166-168), and how it has been applied in a particular neuroanatomical study in the literature.

2. Summarize a study in the literature describing structural differences in a particular

part of the nervous system for at least two different species. Can you suggest how the differences may be correlated with different behavior/ functions in the species being compared?
