1、一般过去时,表示过去发生的动作或状态。动词要用过去式。am,is变成was, are变成were,(否定形式:was not = wasn’t, were not=weren’t)大部分实义动词要加“ed”。

常见的过去时状语: yesterday昨天,three days ago三天之前,this morning

今天早上,last night/week/year/month,long long ago很久以前,just now 刚才,a moment ago片刻之前, in 2000等。

2、一般过去时的过去式构成:

(1)be动词:动词be的过去式为was和were,was用于第一人称和第三人称单数;were用于第二人称、复数

肯定句:I was at home yesterday.

否定句:直接在was,were的后面加上not

I was not (wasn’t) at home yesterday.

一般疑问句:把was,were提到前面

Were you at home yesterday Yes, I was./No,I wasn’t.

(2)规则动词的过去式:

a.一般情况下加ed,如watched, milked, watered, laughed, climbed, picked。

b.以不发音字母e结尾的加d,如liked, lived, tasted。.

c.以辅音字母加y结尾的变y为i再加ed,如study-studied,cry-cried, copy-

copied。

d.以1个元音字母加1个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节,双写最后一个辅音字母再加ed,

如stop——stopped,plan-planned

3、show =show sth to sb(宾格)把某个东西给某人看。

Show me the book,please.= Show the book to me,please.

4、情态动词can的否定句结构:情态动词can的否定结构是在can后面加not

构成,即can’t或can not.后接动词原形。

5、There be…句型在一般过去时中be动词注意要用过去式。其后接单数可数

名词或不可数名词用was,复数名词用were.

6、感叹句的结构:感叹句常用how或what来引导

(1)what引导的感叹句

+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+(主语+谓语)!

What an interesting book (it is)!

+形容词+可数名词复数+(主语+谓语)!

What clean classrooms (they are)!

c. What+形容词+不可数名词+(主语+谓语)!

What delicious bread (it is)!

(2)how引导的感叹句

How+形容词/副词+(主语+谓语)!

How beautiful the flowers are!

(3)what与how引导的感叹句可以互换。

What an interesting cartoon it is!

=How interesting the cartoon is!

7、It is one’s turn.是表示“轮到某人做某事”,其完整的结构形式为“It is

one’s turn to do sth”.It is your turn to tell (tell)a story.
