Unit 10 I'm going to be a basketball player

Period 1(1a--2c)

一、教材分析

1.教学内容:本课时的教学内容选自人教版义务教育课程标准实验教科书《新目标英语》学生用书八年级上册,第十单元 I’m going to be a basketball player 中Section A 1a-2c。

2.地位和作用:这是第十单元的第一课时的内容,其中心话题是谈论人生理想。通过本课时的学习,学生对 be going to 这一结构表示“将来”会有一定基本的了解,并能初步运用这一语言结构进行交流,为下一节课的学习打下基础,在教学中的地位是举足轻重的。

be going to 的用法

“be going to+动词原形”表示将要发生的事或打算、计划、决定要做的事情。这是一般将来时的一种表示形式,常与一些表将来的时间状语连用,如:tomorrow,next year,this evening等。例如:

He is going to play basketball this afternoon.

变否定句时,直接在be动词后加not。

He isn't going to play basketball this afternoon.

变疑问句时,把be动词位于主语之前。

Is he going to play basketball this afternoon?

课后反思:

本课在设计上听说读写结合,相得益彰。首先给学生创造了一个语言环境,让学生自然融入,然后,缓缓导入阶梯状任务链,循序渐进,难度不断加大,但坡度平缓,铺垫充分且扎实,因此学生在完成最后的中心任务时亦不觉吃力,整堂课学生活动充分,教师的引导点到为止,给学生较大的空间发挥和创造。在几个任务之间的点评也很及时到位,给学生非常清晰的范例和指示,利于学生明确任务的方向。另外,根据学生实际,重新整合了教材,把2b的听力改成完成句子形式,降低了难度。设计了一个“考考你的眼力”这个游戏,增加了学生的兴趣,同时还采用了奖励的办法,使课堂更活跃,教学效果很好。
