Some people think university professors should spend more time doing research while others think they should spend more time educating students. What is your view?

Nowadays, more and more student would like to go to a university with a good professor, however what kind of professor can be a good professor? A professor spends more time doing research or should spend more time educating students. Many students would like to choose a professor that spends more time educating students, because they can study more from the professor.

If a professor spends more time educating students, they will have a closer relationship with students. Students will also see the professor as their friend and like to have the professor’s class and pay attention on the professor’s class. Students’will be more effectiveness.

Although the professor spend more time educating the students, but in the opposite I prefer professor pay more attention on the research for the following reasons.

Firstly, in my opinion the reputation of one professor is very important, so they should spend more time on doing research. If they have a good fame more students will come to this school because of respect of the professor, they can win more respects then under the deep pressure they must working harder than before and keep doing better research.

Second is the professor spend more time doing research will acquire more knowledge, they always improve themselves through this ways, and most students want their professor deeper knowledge than others that they can ask any question to their professor they can answer immediately.

That is the reason why I prefer professor should spend more time doing research.

I agree with the statement, I think children should manage their own money at the young age in order to become financially responsible adults. As far as I know a real people in our life in Beijing, a girl has a rich dad then she waster her dad’s money easily on designer labels, luxuries and cars finally she is not live as before now. So it is important for children manage their own money when they were young to make they have a good convention for the following reasons.

Firstly, if children can control their own money when they were young they can know how hard that parents earn the money back and they will not always waste the money parents give them not always ask parents for money all the time, parents not their ATM forever. If they want some toy for gift they will save money to buy the toy by themselves then they should have a plan for nearly a month, what things they must save the money, if they use 10 dollars to have meal every day that they may just use 5 dollars to have meal, and save 5 dollars, like this.

Secondly, if children can manage their money they will be more independent compare with peers, for example I want to hang out with friends if I do not control my money I will ask the acceptation from my parents for money, if I have money I will be independent, I can choose to go entertainment with friends. Have training when they are young can also let them know the precious of the money and they should not waste any.

That is the reason why I agree the statement children should manage their money when they were young.

I agree with the statement people who go outside are more successful and happier than people who stay in village. In ancient China many people studied hard and made out of the village as their target. Why they yearn to go out of their home village, it is because all the people thought that the city is much better than the village. And it is for the following reasons.

Firstly, in my opinion the city is better than the village. The city is a combination of elites and good company, successful people can make become more successful. The city has better devices than the village, like the therapy and entertainment devices. All of these kind of things attract people come to the city, if all the people want to go outside and the amount of people can go out is limited so what kind of people can go out? Of course are successful people.

Secondly is because of people can have a wide eye sight when they go outside and will learn from the bigger new world. For example I always live in the mountain village the mountain is my all world if I do not go outside I will never know how the big world is. Knowing how the world is then people will become more successful.

But the people stay in the village will be happier than the people in the city this statement is not wrong. People in the village can enjoy their life and have a relax life every day compared with the people working in a big company and always get up early and stay up late having thousands of meetings. It is more interesting, so people in the village will be happier than the people in the city.

Also people who can go outside provide they are successful. So I still agree with the statement that the people who go outside are more successful and happier than people who stay in villages.

I disagree with the statement the government should support scientific research that does not have any practical use. People in our country are very creative so do the scientist, if 1 million RMB per scientist cost, the scientist not less than 50,000 how much money will the government pay on the scientific research? So I do not agree with the statement for the following reasons.

Firstly, this kind of huge money to a country can make many people have some meal and water. Now in our country there are many people in difficult and have no money to eat or drink finally they died. So the financial on research does not have any practical use maybe can put to rebuild the village or exploit for the people.

Second is most of this scientists need not the help of the government, if they exploit something really interesting they can apply for the Nobel Prize. And most of them have money to support their research; if the government also supports their scientific research they will waste some of the money, because it is not their own money.

Although the government should not support the money of the scientific research but it is not that bad. If government give support to the scientist more and more scientist will want to work on this field optimistically, and more findings will be exploited. It is a positive direction of a country.

Above in spite of it is have some positive effects of the government should support the scientist but in my opinion I still disagree with the statement.

I disagree with the statement people holding different views cannot achieve success as a team. Some people in one team of a company but they only agree with one man’s opinion do not think others will be so drab and do not creative, so I disagree with the statement for the following reasons.

Firstly, the people holding different views can be more creative and more ideas can make people know more and considerate more. For example the boss gives a team a task, people in the team holding different ideas can be more creative and they can have more ways to solve this task.

Secondly is it can be more effective if people in a team can hold different ideas. If they only have one idea they will not know what is the best way, if they have more ideas to considerate they will save tome to run the most effective way. Different ideas can make people think more and then use the best ideas can save their time to do some other things, like stay with family or go exercise.

Although holding different ideas is helpful, the team members have the same idea and work it out together can let people in the team unity if they meet a competition they will get together and face the problem then solve it together. In this kind of team must be easy to live because people in the team kind to each other. Although holding same idea is good for unity but I still think people holding different ideas will be better to a team and they will be easier to achieve success as a team.

I agree with the statement that all high-school students should take basic economic courses. Some children become adult they meet several problems need them to solve independent, but they did not have this kind of ability like managing their money or cook to feed themselves. So what should we prepare when we are in our childhood? So I agree with the statement for the following reasons.

Firstly, if we achieve the basic economic statement we can be more independent in the future and can manage our money better than hove no knowledge about the basic economy knowledge. For example if we can control our money when we are become adult and have ability to manage our money, we will not have no idea about our money and have no commonsense about economy.

Second is economy basic knowledge is useful, some graduated students always said if they do not go on research about some professional subject like math, they will not touch math this subject any more, they just use plus and minus to count money and buy things not some sin, cosine the advanced math, it will not be used any more in the future so it is not necessary. However the basic economy is not same. People earn money for a living and a luxury life, most people desire it, money is important in our life so economy is also important.

However to spend time on studying basic economy will also waste some time. Student actually has so much homework and extra work to do; to study another not easy discipline will give more pressure to these students. They need to work harder and harder the society already given children too much pressure they need have more fun and a happy childhood.

But above although children should have enough rest, but the advantage the course it bring them will much more than the rest. So I agree with the statement.

In my opinion a challenging plan about one’s future is better. People all like an ambitious man, they always holding a challenging plan and tried their best to achieve the goal and successful than peers. My dad have a friend when they are in the same class, although my dad have a brilliant score his friend’s score is not as good as his, but his friend have a challenging plan and work for his plan. Now the friend have his own company and was a successful businessman, but my dad just worked for others company. Look, having a challenging plan is important.

First a challenging plan can make people more creative, “nothing is impossible”always in their mind. They will have a wide eyesight, and create more thing out of imagine. For example many successful people often have not wise people but creative people. Like Jobs his dropped out of school, but he have a challenging plan so he totally successful now.

Secondly is challenging plan can do something in the future aid to the society and the country even the world. I want to become a person who have attribute to the country not live in a peaceful place and finally die. One Harvard man said that they go to Harvard is because they want to “impact the world”. “Impact the world” is also my challenging plan. It is the ambitious people to prove themselves then do it.

However the people have a practical plan also not a bad thing, like people can step by step achieve their plan, and they are always confidential because their dream can easily accomplish, they feel much relax than people have a challenging plan.

Although people holding a practical dream can make people feel relax, I still think ambitious and challenging plan can make people successful easily. So I prefer challenging plan.

Young children cannot self control themselves very good, so the parents should manage their TV time. So I agree with the statement with the following reasons.

Firstly, Young children have a lot of homework and extra work to do, watching TV is waste of time and energy. Some films are talk about nothing and have no goodness to students. Some are entertainments for adults, like violence, fighting and gossip, for example if a boy watch some guys fight with another guys and they want to imitate the cool guys they cause a fighting in their real life, then the boy in trouble.

Secondly is watch a lot of TV is bad for their eyes. The distant between television and audiences should in a limited distant, but because of do not care the distant and the influence of TV, many young children must wear a pair of glasses. They will not feel comfortable when they do some sports and play with peers who doesn’t wear glasses, if they feel regret they will blame their parents why they were not limited their time on TV and cause this situation.

However, some parents promote their children to watch TV because they think they can harvest more knowledge and more news, that is right news from the internet or newspaper have a huge amount of one day and the TV news are selected everyday and people can know the necessary and important news effective. So people would prefer to watch TV.

Although people can get some useful things from the TV, but I think the disadvantages is more serious than the advantages, so I agree with the statement that parents should limit the time children on TV.

Doing different things can develop interests.

However, people have hobbies that are same to the job can make people more professional in this field and easier successful because they pay more compared with peers. A banker’s hobby is stock exchange and he use all his spare time on this then he can know more commonsense about this field and get promote or make more money. Because they are more concentrate.

Although concentrate one area will be easier to success or promote, but in my opinion people should enjoy their life, so they need to have more fun for themselves, it will not be so tired for a human. Above all I still think people should have hobbies and do physical activities that are very different from their work.
