Helping others is helping yourself

As is known to all, no one can avoid difficulties. So everyone needs others’ help. However, it is a pity that some people won’t offer their help to people in trouble. I have had such experiences. Sometimes when I can’t work out a maths problem and turn to my classmates, they often refuse me, which makes me annoyed. In fact, I think they might have problems that I know how to work out. If they are willing to help me, I will be ready to help them. Otherwise, I may refuse them too. That’s why an old saying goes like this: Helping others is helping yourself. I hope everyone should be unselfish and do whatever they can to help others. Only in this way can we help each other and improve each other.

M: So how do you help them?

W: I play with them and sing songs with them. The nurses are busy. They don’t have time to do this.

M: Tell me, what exactly is your daily routine?

W: Well, I leave home at about 6:45 and I’m at the hospital at 7:15.

M: And how long do you spend there?

W: About an hour. Until about 8:15. Then I leave the hospital to get to school. I start work at 9:00.
