1. have a word with sb.意为“和某人谈话,和某人说句话”,have words with sb.意为“和某人争吵”,

have a word in sb.’s ear意为“和某人说悄悄话”

2. in deep trouble表示“深陷于困难之中,有很大的麻烦”。

3. The cartoons I like have lots of jokes.我喜欢有很多笑话的卡通。

句中I like 是定语从句,修饰the cartoons,引导词是that或 which,作从句中的宾语,被省略了,该句写完整是The cartoons (that/which)I like have lots of jokes. 由此可见,当引导词作定语从句的宾语时可以省略。
