新课标下高中英语词汇教学 现在的《普通高中英语课程标准》对词汇提出了更高 要求。语言知识目标(八级)要求: 1.运用词汇理解和表达 不同的功能、意图和态度等; 2.在比较复杂的情况下,运用 词汇给事物命名、进行指称、描述行为和特征、说明概念等;3.学会使用3000个左右的单词和400?500个习惯用语或固定搭配。一方面,要求学生的词汇量有了很大增加和扩充。另一方面,新课程提倡从使用的角度出发学习词汇,了解基本词义之外的用法、辨析、词组搭配,旧词新意等。词汇教学质量的好坏,单词掌握的多寡,直接影响学生听说读写等运用语言的能力。随着高中新课程改革的实施,英语词汇教学面临更加艰巨的挑战。所以,在如今,如何切实有效地进行词汇教学变得尤为重要。我认为在英语词汇的教学中应该做到以下几点: 一、指导学生要词句结合,在语境中进行词汇教学。词汇的意义体现于特定的语境中,只有在上下文中词义才能明确和具体。我们都明自学习词汇的目的是要掌握词义,词的搭配和用法,用词语造句表达思想。从使用词汇的角度看,词语连成句子或连成话语,才能实现其表达思想的交流功能。因此在课文教学过程中,我们不应该孤立地进行词汇教学,应千方百计地把词汇与句子,语境结合起来,应该多让学生自己造句,掌握词的用法。在词汇与句子结合的基础上,我们

还应该将词汇、句子与语篇相结合,进一步扩大词汇的交流功能。每学完一个对话、一篇文章后,我们可以让学生听写根据对话、课文改写的材料,让学生复述或自编对话,复述背诵课文或进行相关的写作练习。将词汇与句子,语篇相结合,不仅能帮助学生巩固词汇,而且能提高学生学习词汇的兴趣,发展他们运用语言的能力,达到学好英语的目的。 二、指导学生及时进行单词的复习。在词汇教学中,要组织学生及时复习,以便及时强化,加深理解,巩固所学单 词。根据遗忘先快后慢的特点,复习要“趁热打铁”,不能 延缓复习,去“修补已经倒塌了建筑物”。其次复习要注意 经常性,做到“学而时习之”,切忌“三天打鱼,两天晒网” 为了提高复习效果,复习形式应尽可能多样化,如通过归类复习,同义、反义复习,采用听写、单词游戏、单词竞赛、讲故事、唱英语歌曲等等。 三、指导学生学以致用,学用结合,在运用中掌握。用所学的单词短语句式造句,写英语作文。相互交流,相互学习。评选优秀文章进行展览。一方面,增强了学生的学习兴趣,为了让自己的文章更出色,学生们会更加努力地学习英语:另一方面,通过对于词汇的反复运用,对于词汇的掌握就会越加的牢固。 四、指导学生掌握记忆策略,提高记忆效果。在英语教学中,让学生通过对比、联想,发现英语单词的构词方法,通过前缀、后缀、合成、派生扩大词汇量;比如:对常见的否定前缀为dis-、
