fun常指与娱乐活动有关的乐趣、嬉笑。如：

happiness强调“幸福”，其抽象意义多了一些。如：
Money cannot buy happiness.钱买不来幸福。
joke多指口头上的玩笑。如：
They told jokes at the beginning of the show.他们在节目开始时讲了些
笑话。
pleasure可以用来表示精神和肉体上的舒适、愉快。如：
He listened with pleasure to the beautiful music.他陶醉在美妙的音乐
中。
joy是用法最普通的，可以与其他词互用。
