晨读对提高小学英语教学水平的研究 [摘要]:教育部在《关于积极推进小学开设英语课程的指导意见》中提到,培养一定的语感和良好的语音、语调基础是小学开设英语课程的基本要求之一。《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准》在语言技能的二级目标中明确指出:“学生要能正确朗读所学故事或短文。”四级目标又进一步指出:“能连贯、流畅地朗读课文。”笔者认为,利用好晨读,对提高小学生的英语朗读水平和提高小学英语教学水平有不可取代的作用。 [关键词]:晨读朗读小学英语 一晨读的现状 1、晨读的定义 朗读(read loudly and clearly)就是运用重音、节奏、语调等语音手段把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来,也就是清晰响亮地把词汇、句子、文章等语言文字材料念出来,朗读具有视觉上的因素,它要求朗读者仔细看着语言材料,又具有口语(表达上)的因素,朗读者大脑想着其发音,然后专注地念出其声。所谓晨读,就是利用早晨的黄金时间,在大脑的记忆力特别强的时候及时进行复习旧知、预先介入新课而采用的一种学习方式。晨读效率如何能间接和直接影响到我们英语课堂教学的效果。 2、晨读的现状 现行的英语早读课的模式很多,就笔者所在的农村

小学而言,主要的英语晨读形式有以下几种:老师领读、学生领读、学生齐读等。而如果只是简单套用这些模式,根本不能很好地反映教师的主导性及学生的主体性,那晨读课(作为巩固课堂知识,延伸课外知识的重要阵地)存在的意义则当然无存。现在英语晨读主要存在以下问题: (1)教师不重视晨读 在实际的教学中,仍然有不少教师对晨读课不够重视,尚存在着晨读目标不明,晨读的内容与形式过于单一,甚至听凭学生一读了之等现象。一方面,一些英语老师很少在晨读课上下心思。对于晨读课,教师布置的早读内容或者过于单一,或者不布置晨读内容;晨读形式千篇一律,不是齐读,就是自由读,使到气氛沉闷,诸如此类。另一方面,笔者在走访时了解到,绝大部学生都认为,英语书的内容没有上过的他们都读不来,那只好反复地读学过的内容。这就导致学生对晨读产生疲劳感、枯燥感,甚至是厌恶感。这也反映出教师对晨读没有足够的重视。 (2)、教师缺乏引导 笔者通过观察、走访学生后发现,短短三十分钟的晨读课看似书声琅琅,实际上有大部分学生没有用心、用感情地去朗读,而是有口无心地“念经”。这样的朗读事倍功半,而且容易导致学生做事心不在焉、缺乏目的性,

浅谈小学英语晨读

关于小学英语晨读方面的几点体会 英语是一种有声语言,朗读是学习这种语言的有效途径。重视“读”的训练能有效地提高学生“听、说、写”的能力,从而促进学生综合应用语言能力的发展。早读就是加强学生进行朗读训练的黄金时段。在日常英语教学活动中,我们该如何把握好早读,提高学生学习效率呢?下面我就小学英语早读课谈几点自己的看法。 首先说说现在普遍的早读课现状:我们时常看见在早读课期间,老师安排学生自由读书,然后坐在前面批改作业的;也有“小老师”领读,教师一旁监督的;有教师讲解前一天的家庭作业或语法知识的;有将早读课当成正课新授知识的;也有没有教师在班,学生有的读,有的不读,有的补作业,类似英语自习课的;甚至有学生打扫卫生,交作业,小打小闹,傻坐着的。 其实现在大部分学校都会安排每周一次到两次的英语早读课,这样的目的显而易见,就是为了学生每天都有机会听说读写英语,及时复习,有效巩固,所以我们作为英语老师应该要认真思考怎样合理的利用这个早读课。 早读最主要的任务是朗读与背诵,那么读什么?背什么?完成多少任务?且这任务还要适中,能够让多数学生有信心地完成,这是我们每位老师在每一节早读课前必须要思考的问题。要想早读课有效地开展,就必须要备课,要提前明确任务。老师可以适当的联系教学进度,围绕早读的内容、方式、目标等去备。当然这里不一定就像备正课一样地详细,但最起码的,词汇读哪些,对话读哪里,拼背哪几个单词,读哪几篇课外阅读或读什么补充材料都要提前安排好。这其中先读什么后读什么,也要根据小学生的心理特点和记忆规律进行合理安排,并且各个部分分别需要多长时间也要做好充分考虑和预设,以免出现浪费时间或囫囵吞枣的无效现象。 比如说我除了每天安排学生背诵适量的课文和词汇以外还会另外再辅助一些日常交际用语,当然是比较简单的,这样既拓展了课外知识,又为以后的英语教学做铺垫。 教师应引导学生不能盲目的光“读”,应将读和记作到紧密结合,有机统一。
