我觉得在央视大家看法周末版节目《我建议》录制现场中，主编过多部英语高考丛书的王长喜教授突然对我猛捶桌子，更证明了中国英语教育的失败。之前，已从李敖之女李文纳闷的表情中看得出王长喜教授的英语水平，可我没想到他在母语的表达上也这么前列腺，汉语说不过我，就猛捶桌子。幸好央视经费充足用的是一体化玻璃桌，要是搁地方台，靠502胶水粘上去的，那桌面吃不住力，捶翻转过来扣在脸上，就不好玩了，那就不是一张中国脸的伤害，是英语受了伤害。中国的应试英语教育是学不好英语的，最后连汉语也忘了大半，顾骏教授用邯郸学步来形容是对的。

当时的情况好像是这个样子的：李文有请一个自称英语不俗的女孩子出来问答，李文问了一句很简单的“我现在在国贸，请问去中央电视台最好的路线该怎么走”，那女孩子听不懂，不知该怎么说，场面一时很尴尬……我见王长喜教授跃跃欲试，就打断他说，看，这就是应试教育教出来的聋子英语。王教授大概觉得我素质低，就捶了。其实当时另外还有一个长像特别主流的女同志，力陈英语高考的重要性和伟大意义，我插了一嘴，又被女同志说成素质很低，不过她没有捶桌子，因为她坐的是观众席，要是捶，只能捶前面那烫着卷发的小伙头上。我想她是忍了。

看来英语好的人，是容易觉得别人素质低的。不知晚上说梦话时，是用母语，还是英语。

不要怪我插嘴，我只插了两次，每次只说了一句话，其中有一次还是为了提醒对方说着说着就跑到我们这边来了，他的论据其实是在支持我们，何况当时情况很乱，要是不插嘴，整个观点都跑题了。原本的论题是“高考应不应该取消英语”，可大家一通乱说之后就成了“中国人应不应该学英语”，当然该学英语。可就是这样，我参加的很多电视台所有节目只要一涉及论战，大家都会跑偏，这是驾校老师的错。

我觉得中国人是应该学英语的，因为这和驾驶、电脑一样是个工具，学习别人的语言也有助于学习别人的思维方式，学习好的东西。可是，我反对高考英语，一是因为这个古怪的高考对于中国孩子来讲就是工作最基本的门槛，一刀切式的用考试来命令所有孩子学一门工具是不公平的，我们知道，中国的高考其实是很破坏孩子的智商的，而且还破坏情商，八股文考

试也不完全回避弄点花花草草，高考不是，它就是相当于你进宫前，给你一刀，而且不准叫，还得说好，就是好。有人不想学英文，而是想学的中文、国画、中医，但因为英语不好就取消他上大学的权利，从而取消他找到好工作的权利，这是不是残忍。现场正好有个陈丹青老师的学生叫林金福，现身说法，他画画得很好，就是因为英语过不了关考了4多年才进去，又因为英语不好上了不研究生，白白耽溺了多年。

这还不是最重要的，因为一心想学中医唐诗画画的人是少量的，最重要的是我们的应试英语教育其实是在破坏孩子们的语感，它只是在锻炼考试的能力而不是语言能力，郑荃介绍了一个清华大学专门教英语的老师，他最大的本事就是研究各种各样的试卷，琢磨出一套英语考试的科学方法，被誉为考试专家，大受欢迎，清华英语老师私下里还实验过，找了街上扫街的10个老大娘，每人给她们50块钱一天，然后教她们怎么来做英语的卷子。考完了以后，大娘们每个人都能拿到30分，而她们之前都不认识任何ABCD的……这清华老师就是教会大娘们学会排列方式去填对与错，找出中间的规律。中国人真是天才，这种英语考试的法门肯定让哈佛剑桥的人自卑死了，恨不得拜在清华门下。

郑荃是全国人大教科文卫委员，中央音乐学院教授，想必不太会在央视上说谎。

英语很重要，可我们的教育机构总喜欢用行政力量一刀切，总以为很多事情靠“教育”，就能教育出一批有用人才。比如说教育你成为一个讲政治懂道理的人，靠教育使你成为一个善良勇敢无私奉献的人，其实教育，在中国就成为强奸，假装顺奸的样子，最好的教育是环境，再说回英语，我们的环境根本没有英语元素，走大街上路牌都是汉语拼音，东四十条桥的拼音，银锭桥的拼音，如果说这些不好翻译，我们小区的别墅、游乐场、物管这些也是汉语拼音，而且别墅的汉语拼音成了beishu，不明白的还以为要我们背书。

英语是一门很好的工具，可我们让学生们浪费了十年去学应试英语，工作时却没有用。你让我学，就得让我用，不，让你学是为了和国际接轨，不让你用，这是中国特色……其实高考教育就是只让你学，不让你用的教育。还有教育家们担心不高考了，孩子们都不学英语了，这又是太想“教育”的原因，你凭什么觉得我们学什么东西都是你们教育的成果，凭什么觉得你不高考我们就不学了？英语是工具，电脑也是工具，而电脑不参加高考，但在中国普及程度超过英语，因为电脑是要用的，英语却没有用，你要是用英语做个文案出来，老板肯定不高兴，你进球场找座位说英语，肯定球赛结束还没找到位置，奥运会那阵子全北京都在说

英语，过了以后就忘了，你再说英语，别人会以为你神经病。就是这样，我们只是要大家学英语，假装接过轨，假装是国际名牌大学，有英语四级六级证书，但没必要使用。最后，我们的英语教育成了镶假牙，四级是镶的门牙，六级把犬牙也镶了，要是过了专业八级，是满口金牙，我说不死你，我一嘴金牙晃死你。

其实我很支持李文，她说的才是漂亮的英语，用的是有趣的英语教学方法，用俚语、实物、歌曲的方式让孩子们掌握英语的法门，她们很想进入中国市场，可是中国的有关部门不让这些真正的英语教师做大，制造了种种障碍。我想，这是假装的英语怕被真正的英语抢了饭碗，中国人多，这笔钱可不是小数，坚持英语应试教育，其实是坚持英语应试盈利模式。

就是这样，我们几代人来，被一群英语说得很滥但很能考试的老师来教着说英语，这就像让一群带着唐山腔的老师教全国人民普及普通话，唐山腔挺好，我就崇拜赵丽蓉老师，可不能让这个成为普通话的标准。真的，那些老师们满脸冒油，语不成句，带着一股伦敦郊区口音，伦郊还是好的，好多还带着一股包子味就进了讲堂，让大家跟我念：噎死，易踢一死。

我想大家都明白了，高考英语不仅对普及英语无用，而且坏了真正的英语教育。其实我也是现身说法，高考时我是成都市英语第二名，正题96，选考题满分。可我现在英语极滥，后来我到了国外才发现，哦，MY DOG，原来我学的不是英语，是考试，那天和那个东欧房东大妈交流关于早餐的问题，我整半天没说出来，最后站在她家门口，两腿叉开，右手上举做鸡冠状，嘴里发出“咯咯”以及开水的“咕嘟嘟”的声音，东欧大妈立刻明白，白水煮鸡蛋。

那时，我觉得对不起我妈的，妈的英语学费。

这样一个话题其实不只针对英语应试教育，包括汉语，包括化学，包括物理……的义务制教育，贻误制教育。忽然想到这个节目名字叫《我建议》，所以和谐的我建议，英语在中学教育里，必修，却可以选考。道理你们自己去想吧。

PS：虽然……但这期节目还是剪了不少不合适的地方，虽然……但这台的大家看法之《我建议》，以其人性化还是可以一看的。帮他们打一广告：今天晚上央视十二套19：45分。
