一.说教材

1.本课的地位和作用

本课是新目标英语七年级上册第8单元第一课时,教材以 when is your birthday? 为中心话题。Section A 是本单元的重点部分,也是核心教学。主要学习日期的表达。它上承Unit7 的数字教学,下接Section B与以后有

关日期的英语教学。,因此本部分是前后知识的载体,在本单元以及今后的英语学习中都占重要的地位。

2.教学目标

《课程标准》中说:英语教学的目的是培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力,为用而学,在用中学,学了就用。因此我把本课的教学目标定为以下几个方面:

(1)知识目标

①词汇掌握 1-12月份的表达序数词1-31

②日常交际用语 when is your birthday?

My birthday is ….

③语法日期表达法

(2)能力目标

在连贯的听说读写活动中,训练学生的逻辑思维,快速反应能力和实践能力,使学生能熟练应用:when is your birthday? 句型及其回答。

(3)情感目标

热爱生命,孝敬父母的思想教育

3.本课的重点难点和关键点及其理论依据

根据《课程标准》,重点是句型when is your birthday ? 及其回答.难点是日期表达中月份和日期的正确使用。关键点是:正确熟练运用when is

your birthday ?My birthday is …. 句型。

二、说教法

教学的实质是交际,为此我选用了以下教法:

1.提问引入法通过提问,集体,分组,分行回答,或学生逐个回答的形式开展教学,检查和巩固新旧知识。

2.交际功能法通过集体,分组,两人,个人操练等形式,达到交际的目的。

三、说学情、说学法。

在学习日期的表达法时要先学习序数词的构成,学生在以前的课程里已经学习了基数词,对于两种数词之间的区别一定会令学生感到头痛,教师要引导学生运用对比的方法,找出构成规律,总结特殊变化,对比强化记忆。

依据新课改的精神,我从以下几个方面对学生进行学法指导。

⒈学习方法的指导

培养学生观察力,想象力,记忆力以及思维能力。用生动的课件调动学生的感观进行听说读写的训练。

⒉学习积极性的调动

我在教学过程中创造一种开放的,和谐的,积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,让学生在乐中学。

⒊学习能力的培养

通过连贯的听说读写,游戏,竞赛等,培养学生的交际能力,发展他们的思维能力。

针对本课的内容,我采用了五步教学法:第一步:热身激活旧知识,创设轻松活跃的课前气氛。;第二步:呈现呈现新内容,感知新内容;第三步:操练用多种方式操练新知识;第四步:巩固通过游戏,听力练习和笔头练习相结合的方式,巩固新知识。第五步:应用让学生在用中学,乐中学,学了就用。

四.说教学过程

本课以交际为核心教学,我采用五步教学法,并且灵活穿插使用各步教学。Step1 warm up(热身)

① Greeting 体现师生之间的初步交际

②根据实际情况,用句型:what is your telephone number? 询

问学生的电话号码,复习数字,激活旧知识,为学习新知识做铺垫。

问学生are you happy today?告诉学生说: I am very happy

today .Because today is my birthday.would you like to sing

a song for me? 集体唱生日快乐歌。营造轻松活跃的课堂气氛,让学生带着

积极活跃的心情进入课堂。

Step2 Presentation(呈现)

①利用歌曲的承上启下作用,说:

Today is my birthday? When is your birthday?

How to say our birthday dates? 引出月份的教学。然后播放 1a 部分

的录音 , 让学生进行模仿。

②利用多媒体手段,在一页页翻动的日历中学习1-12月的新单词

采用集体,分组,分排,两人,个人轮流等方式操练。再利用卡片操练,加深印象。

③(学生基本掌握月份单词的读音后 ) 教师可以指着挂历说:

My birthday is Nov.21st.. When is your birthday? 从而引出

本单元的重点目标语言“日期的询问和表达”。加重语气重复21,让学生初步

感知序数词的读法。自然呈现序数词的教学。做相关练习1b 和设计的练习,

将听说读写有机结合,巩固新知识。

④序数词教学过程中,让学生观察,归纳序数词的变化规律,培养学生的观

察力,注意力和总结归纳能力。最后总结出:“基变序,有规律,词尾加上th。123 ,特殊记, 8去t,9去e,f来把ve替。整十y 变i, th前有小e 来。”在教学中充分体现启发性教学原则。

⑤用卡片突出操练序数词中的几个特殊的数字,突破难点。.

⑥播放 2a 部分的录音让学生听,引导学生跟读、模仿,完成 2a 部分的教学

任务。

⑦.播放 2b 部分的录音,引导学生圈出所听到的数字,完成 2b 部分中的听

力训练任务。再播放 2b 部分的录音,引导学生填写表格,将姓名、月份和日期对应起来,完成 2c 部分的教学任务。

Step3. consolidation [k?n?sɑl??de??n] (巩固)找朋友游戏:部分学生手持缺了部分字母的单词,说:where is my friend? 手上持有该单词确了部分的同学战起来说: I am here .该活动主要是通过游戏方式巩固新

单词,并且增添课堂的趣味性,使学生始终保持良好的学习状态。

Step4. practise

① Ask and answer 反复操练句型:

when is your birthday? My birthday is …. 引导学生展开 Pairwork 活动,完成 2d 部分口语交际的教学任务。让学生先阅读对话,再进行问答练习,运用 When is your / his / her birthday? My / His / Her birthday is …通过集体练,小组练,两人练,个人轮流练习等方式,训练学生的语音,语调,提高语感。

Step5.Homework

a. Make an English calendar. (仿照Page 47 1a 的英文日历)。

b. 把下列基数词变为序数词。

c、按要求变换句子。
