保护环境What Can We Do for the Environment

Hello, everyone. I’m Li Hua. It’s nice to speak about what we can do for the environment, and I think each of us can do a little bit to help with this problem.

The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags in stead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse(再利用) the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. What’s more, it would be better if we walk or ride a bike to school. We should try our best to reduce pollution and waste.

In fact, even the simplest everyday activities(日常活动) can make a real difference to(对…有影响) the environment. I believe we can make the world a better place to live in.

.环境问题:How to protect/save our environment/world?

The environmental pollution is worse and worse today . Water is polluted ,we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals is getting less and less. Some factories is pouring(排出) dirty air into the sky , the population is increasing faster and faster , resources is getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it also has a great affection in the future. Pe ople’s health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, we need protect our world.

We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle(回收), reduce(减少), reuse(再利用) things . Don’t waste things ,This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags . We mus t plant more trees and stop the people cutting them. We hope our world will be more and more beautiful .

地震How to Survive an Earthquake

If earthquake happened, firstly, don't panic and calm down. Secondly, find some safe place to stay and don't run in such a hurry. If in the room, one should hide himself/herself under something hard, such as desk, table or even bed and keep away from shelf and cupboard, and never take a lift to go downstairs. If in the open air, find an open place and never get close to cars or waterside. Thirdly, we should help each other when we meet trouble. At last, no matter how strong the earthquake is, if only we have the belief to defeat it and never give up, we must be able to overcome any difficulties。

上海世博会对中国的影响

As we all know that 2010 World Expo will be held in Shanghai , this is the first time that China hosted the World Expo. The World Expo has a long history but it has never been held in Asia. So it is a great honor for our country. It is also a great honor for all the Asians. As a host city, Shanghai will have more chances to develop quickly. The theme of the Expo is "Better City, Better Life". We all really hope that Shanghai will become more exciting and attractive and that we can enjoy life to the fullest. Organizers expected to attract 70 million visitors from all over the world to attend, at the same time it is also the largest in the history of World Expo. It is a good chance for China to show its achievements in many fields。

Dear fellow students,

Our government is aiming to build a "harmonious society". I think it is every citizen's duty to work hard to achieve this goal.

As high school students, what should we do?

First of all, we should love our motherland. Let’s take a great interest in the development of our hometowns and take an active part in our school and activities.

郊游(School Trip)

We had a great time on the school trip.

We went to Shanghai for vacation. We took the plane to Shanghai. That was a lot more fun than taking a bus or train.First, we visited the Oriental Pearl. It was very beautiful.Next we went to Shanghai Waitan. The weather was warm and sunny.So we could enjoy the sunshine.Then we went to the Blue Water Aquarium to watch sharks.But there weren’t any sharks.What a pit y!After that, my classmatesand I planned to hang out on the street. We bought a lot of gifts,and I bought a small red hat as a souvenir. It was very nice.Finally, we took the bus back to the hotel.And we had Shanghai food for dinner. It was very delicious.

Last week our class had a parents’ meeting. At the meeting, all the parents talked about whether doing a lot of homework was useful or not.

Many parents thought that doing much homework was useful. They thought by doing a lot of homework, the students could review what they had learned. It wouldalso help todevelop the students’ mindsandstop them playing computer games.

But a few parents thought that too much homework was useless. Because doing much hom ework took a lot of timeand thus students could not have a good rest.What’s more, they could not do the things they liked.

As we know, I think food is very important to us. there is no doubt that nothing is more important than to have a good eating habit.. bad eating habits are common among us students. Some of us often go to school without., some like to have snacks.others are particular about food .and still some eat or drink too much .All these bad habits will do harm to our health.

To keep fit ,we should have healthy diets, such as fish ,meat vegetables fruit as well as main food., besides ,we had better have meals at a regular time. If we get into good habits of eating meals . it will benefit us a lot. good eating habits can protect us from all kinds of

our parents are the closest people to us in the world . we should get on well with them .

First ,we should understand them .when we can’t understand them, we can imagine what we should do if we were the parents .second . I think the best way is talking to them, just like talking to our best friends .by listening to my parents carefully, we can become good friends .

Third ,it’s a good idea to make friends with our parents. In these ways ,we are sure to get on well with our parents. When I didn’t pass exam., my mother sai d: “Don’t worry about. The harder you work ,the more progress you make. So the more books ,the more learned you become. you can success”

There are no one but longs to learn a lot.

In my English study ,I have learned a lot of new words, phrases and sentences .by speaking English , we can improve . I made a pen pal from USA, so I have learned about American customs .

In my daily life, I am able to take care of myself much better .I have learned to clean my room and wash my clothes by myself. I have also learned how to cook some simple dishes.

Last week ,we held a discussion on what we should do for our school before we graduate .the

students in our class have different suggestion.

Some students think that we can collect money to buy some books for the school library or something else for the school. Other students think that it’s not necessary to spend money. We can study hard and make our school feel proud of us.
