【摘要】一年之计在于春，一日之计在于晨。如何提高提高英语晨读的有效性呢？我认为要明确晨读的目的，丰富晨读的内容，使晨读的形式多样化，及时检测学生的晨读效果。为了提高学生的晨读效率，我们应不抛弃，不放弃，精心组织学生的晨读。通过晨读让学生成为学习的主体，也就是说要把学习的主动权交给学生，从而不断增强他们自主学习的意识，培养自主学习能力。

英语是一门有声语言，是一种与人交流沟通的工具。朗读是学习英语的重要途径之一。古人云：“读书百遍，其义自现”。可见“读”相当重要。而早晨是一个人记忆的高峰时期。因为经过一整晚的休息，大脑处于清醒状态，在这个时间断进行晨读有助于学习英语，更提高其学习的效率。晨读更是初中英语组织教学的重要环节。它是课堂不不可少的延续和补充，是培养学生良好读书习惯的关键。在晨读中我们应以学生为中心，一切从学生学习实际出发而制定、调整晨读内容，让学生读，让学生思，让学生去实践，让学生自主学习，学会学习，使学生学习变被动为主动。
