教材分析：

本课的故事是大明正在举办一个生日聚会，当他吹小号的时候，被突然发生的事件给中断了。需要学生掌握的语言功能是：Daming is playing the trumpet, but the phone is ringing He's riding his bike, but

it's staring to rain.说明事件的变化。本课的内容贴近学生的生活实际，有利于培养学生在真实的语言情景中运用英语进行交际的能力。

设计理念：

“课程是知识，也是经验，还是活动，是体验，更是语言的载体。”根据本课的特点，我采用了“创设真实语境和小组合作学习的教学法，通过卡片及实物和多媒体课件来呈现课文内容，循序渐进激发学生的学习兴趣，通过大量的活动及游戏来操练、巩固及运用所学知识，让学生在体验中成长，在快乐中学

教学目标：

知识目标：

1．听、说、读、写四会单词：Trumpet ring doorbell loudly

2．能听懂、会说功能句：

A.Daming is having a birthday party.

B.Daming is playing the trumpet, but the phone is ringing.

3．能运用功能句谈论正在做一件事情时另一件事情同时发生。

4．在游戏和活动中培养学生运用英语的能力，提高学生的口语水平，并对英语产生浓厚的兴趣。

情感目标：激发学生的学习热情，并进行文明礼仪教育。

(播放电话声音,引出句子The phone rings again/ for the third time. ) 仿照以上方式.学习唢呐和门铃.suona, bell, play,ring等,并在后面几道猜猜看他们正在做什么中复习现在进行时时态,有助于学生课文的学习和掌握.

2.重点跟读短文中含有“--ing”的句子。

二:Listen and answer.

Listen to the tape, then answer the questions:
