四年的大学本科和两年半的研究生学习，让我奠定了扎实的专业理论基础，培养了务实的工作作风并积累了一定的英语教学经验。
在专业学习上，我一直一丝不苟，主修了英美文学、翻译、高级写作、跨文化交际以及英语教学法等多门课程，专业课平均成绩始终保持在85分以上。同时，在我校研究生部主办的“爱未来”杯学术文化节的论文大赛中，我撰写的两篇论文连续两届荣获三等奖，并因此获得我校研究生部“学习科研优秀奖”及奖学金。
思想政治上，我主动向党组织靠拢，积极参与各种公益活动。今年4月，我被研究生部党总支选为我校第24届党校学员并于5月顺利毕业。

I am so happy to have known from the web that there are several vacancies in Central University for Nationalities, and now I am writing to apply for an English teaching post.
I’ve long heard of Central University for Nationalities, and I am greatly impressed by its popularity among higher education seekers and its pleasant study and working conditions. I’ll feel greatly lucky to work for such a good university.
I think I am competent to meet the requirements you’ve listed in the your recruitment on the web. I’ll be graduating from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) next March with a Master’s degree. During my undergraduate study, I’ve majored in English teaching; as a graduate student, I’ve been majoring in English language and literature while taking as many courses relevant to translation as possible. My GPA (Grade Point Average) is above 85. During the two and a half years of graduate study, two theses of mine have won the third prize in the thesis competition during the Academic Festival of the Graduate School, SISU and will be published respectively in volume four and five in Foreign Language and Culture Studies.
At the same time, I’ve gathered much teaching experience through teaching practice and part-time jobs. I’ve been teaching the first- and second-year college students in Shanghai branch of Huazhong University of Science and Technology for the past two semesters.
