1.unless的用法

unless意为“除非;如果不”,相当于if…not。引导条件状语从句,主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时。如:

You will miss the early bus unless you hurry up.=You will miss the early bus if you don't hurry.如果你不快一点,你就会错过早班车。

2.angry的用法

angry作形容词,意为“发怒的;生气的”。be angry with sb.生某人的气;be angry at sth.为某事生气。如:

Please don't be angry with me.It wasn't my fault.请别生我的气,那不是我的错。

The passengers got angry about the delay.延误使乘客气愤起来。

3.careless的用法

careless作形容词,意为“粗心的;不小心的”,其反义词是careful“小心的;细致的;精心的;慎重的”。

carelessly作副词,意为“粗心地”,反义词是carefully“细致地;谨慎地”。

care n.& v.关系;在意;担忧

4.advise的用法

advise是advice的动词形式,其主要用法如下:

(1)advise+名词或代词

(2)advise doing sth.

(3)advise sb.to do sth.

(4)advise+that从句

5.辨析trust与believe

(1)trust作动词,意为“相信;信任”,强调“信任,信赖”,相当于believe in sb.。如:

If you break your word,he will never trust you again.如果你不守信,他决不会再相信你。

(2)believe作动词,意为“相信”,指相信某人(说的话是真的)。如:

I don't believe what he said just now. 我不相信他刚刚说的话。

6.experience的用法

(1)experience作“经验”讲时,是不可数名词。如:

Experience is the best teacher.经验是良师。

(2)experience作“经历”讲时,是可数名词。如:

Failing an exam was a new experience for me. 考试不及格对我来说还是第一次。

(3)experience 作动词,意为“经历;体验”。如:

He wants to experience the country life.他想体验一下乡村生活。

7.else的用法

else作副词,意为“别的;其他的”,与不定代词或疑问词连用时,else应放在不定代词或疑问词的后面。如:

Do you have anything else to say?你还有别的事情要说吗?
