Finally we went back the hotel where we lived. We had a happy day. In this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian, went shopping and so on. Several days later, we left Dalian. On our way home, we were very happy. This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired. In all, we had a good holiday. 一次难忘的经历英语作文2 An Unforgettable Travel My families plan to visit the interesting place p of Shanghai.We are led to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower ,a famous tourist attraction,which is on every Shanghainese's lips.It is a magnificent building located in Pudong New Area,it is the tallest building,so it's very easy to see this building,even if you are several miles away it.As we get to the high floor of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower,we see the attractive viwswhich includes the Huangpu River through the window.At the moment,l suddenly moved by the builders put their soul and energy to this building and let it be a landmark of this city. This is the trip l never forget. As a student ,I don’t have any great event to talk about ,but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination. During the first three years of junior school ,we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June, everything bl ew onto our faces : teachers’ changing , harder and harder texts , terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ,always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day. But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest, and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. 动名词的用法及练习 你听过英文语法有动词(verb)、名词(noun);但你听过有动名词(gerund)吗 1. The girl is singing a song. 2. The girl singing now is my sister. 3. Singing is one of her hobbies(爱好). 一、名词性的动名词(Nominal Gerund) Nominal Gerund 可以加上定冠词(Definite article,如the)或不定冠词(Indefinite article,如a, an),其他可加在动名词前的还有如:my, this, some, any, all, no 等等。举例如下: 1. The mellow(愉快地) singing of the birds announces the coming of spring. (singing前加定冠词the及形容词mellow;coming 前加the) 2. We knew the robber was near when we heard a faint rustling(沙沙声) in the bushes. (rustling 前加不定冠词a及形容词faint) 从上面的例子可看出如何将一个动词转成名词;但它和真正的名词还是有区别的,那就是没有单数或复数之分。不过,有一些动名词是可以变成真正名词的喔,如:saying, writing, opening, painting, cutting, heading, feeling, being,saving, surrounding, crossing, misunderstanding 等等。它们都可以有复数的喔,方法就是在它们的后面加个s,如:paintings。 二、动词性的动名词(Verbal Gerund) 看看下面的句子: Carelessly writing essays annoys the teacher. 上面的句子里的writing是动名词,但前面有副词carelessly(粗心地),后面又有受词(Object) essays。因此writing就有动词的特征。 注意:Verbal Gerund 这类动名词的前面可不能加上任何冠词(the, a, an ...)喔。 动名词的功能与用法 一、在句子中用作主语(Subject)或主语的补语(Subject Complement): 作主语 1. Listening to music gives me pleasure. (主语Listening ) 2. Running is good exercise. (主语running) 3. Walking to school is a good idea. (主语walking) 作主语的补语 1. My cat's favorite activity is sleeping. (补语sleeping) 2. Seeing is believing. (主语seeing, 补语believing) 主语置于句尾用It + be + ... +v-ing 句型 1. It is fun speaking English. 2. It is of great importance fighting against pollution(污染). 用It is 后接no use. no good, fun 等的句型 1. It is no use learning theory without practice. 2. It is no fun being lost in rain. 用It is 后接useless, nice, good, interesting, worthwhile 等的句型 1. It is worthwhile taking this into consideration. 用There + be + no + v-ing 的句型 1. There is no joking about such matters. 2. There is no getting along with him. (简直无法与他相处) 二、动名词也可以作宾语(Object) 作动词/动词短语的宾语(置于动词或动词短语的后面) 1. I cannot help laughing. (我禁不住笑了起来)(宾语laughing) 2. You should avoid quarrelling with your sister. (宾语quarrelling) 3. You should practice speaking English more. (宾语speaking) 注意:上面三个句子中的动词:help, avoid, practice 只能用动名词作宾语。这类动词还有:dislike 厌恶admit 接受repent 后悔acknowledge 承认

My Unforgettable Experience

Everybody has some experience he can’t forget. I was no exception. This summer holiday, I as a member of the English language, and my roommateto join the summer tutoring classes in a small town under the jurisdiction of Sanmenxia,and as a teacher of this role, to experience a different kind oflife.This is my unforgettable experience. For me, this experience is hard but it's very meaningful.In June 27, 2016, after we finished the test step on the road to Sanmenxia. After a 5 hour journey, the car slowly to the Yang Ping town, a town rich in minerals. We first entered the stage of enrollment. The weather was very hot at that time, up to 32 degrees of temperature to fry. There was few people around town, so we endure hot, well tanned to each district, village and school nearby to give publicity to. Although it was very tired every day, but we still insisted on a period of six days of enrollment. This summer vacation, I participated in a cause of public good, becoming a volunteer of the local library. The task is rather troublesome than complex. Everyone has the experience of failure, whether it is big or small, it will make people feel unforgettable. I remember a math exam. When the paper was just handed out, I read the question about once. I began to work on it with confidence. In the process of doing the problem, I saw a calculation problem, because I hated a lot of complex calculations since I was a child, so I had an aversion to this problem, put down that problem, and planned to finish other problems first and then calculate that problem. But because I usually hate this kind of topic, so I have not done exercises on this kind of topic. When I was looking at the topic, I had no idea what to do with it. In the end, I still didn't work out the problem. This experience of failure made me understand that I should be prepared in normal times, rather than completely at a loss when facing difficulties. An unforgettable experience Breathing the fresh air,I was walking along the Pearl River,with the breeze blowing on my face gently. I closed to the River little by little,watching a number of children who were catching the fishes with fishing net made by hand,which made me lost in my mind. It was a sunny day that I heard a exciting voice from my home downstairs when I was doing my homework. “Come down to go fishing with us!”Xiaoqi shouted to me,carrying all the fishing equipments. So surprised I was that I went downstairs with my fishing net without hesitating.No sooner had I arrive at the ground where the river tide went to than I took off my shoes and socks as far as quickly I could.With the pupose of catching a large number of fishes,I insisted on catching the fishes with Xiaoqi.Several hours passed,Xiaoqi and his friends had caught a bucket of fishes,counting how many fishes they had canght.I,however,caught a little fishes,which really broke my heart. After a few muitue,I made a daring decision that I would never forget in my life.I slowly closed to the river,with one hand holding the guardrail,with the other hand catching fishes.Accidentally,so dark the water was that I couldn't distinguish where was the water and where was the land,which made me fall into the Pearl River.I opened my eyes as soon as I fell into the river,thinking that I was dying and I couldn't see my parents again.How should I do?Who can help me?Almostly I scared to death. Suddenly,I saw one hand waving towards me above the river,like the Angel’s hands.I seized her hand tightly for the reason that it was an opportunity for me to survive . The person who helped me was Xiaoqi. I was so appreciated with her for the reason that it was her that I had a second life .How lucky I am.I will never forget this special experience.
