我的教学改进

——8B Unit 3第一课时教学案例

一、教材分析

1、教学内容:牛津初中英语8B Unit 3第一课时Comic strip and welcome to the unit。

2、教学内容分析:本单元中心话题是电脑,主要交际功能项目为介绍虚构但有趣的教育类游戏光盘。第一课时学习卡通漫画和导入阶段,课型为新授课。通过埃迪和霍波之间一段简洁而有趣的对话,点明本单元的内容要点。学习Welcome to the unit,让学生了解电脑的基本用途。本节课除了学习与电脑有关的词汇和句型,还要初步了解本单元的重要语法项目:被动语态。

二、教学设计理念

以新课程理念和语言习得理论为指导,以发展学生在实际生活中运用语言能力为目标。本课教学围绕电脑的基本用途为话题,运用任务型教学实施教学活动,倡导学生主动参与,乐于研究,培养学生获取新知识,交流与合作。使用适当的教具创设丰富有趣的教学情境,激发学生学习动机。

三、教学目标设计

1、认知目标:

①初步理解被动语态的含义及构成:Look,the TV is turned on now.

②掌握本课重点词汇和句型:

A、some new words:

four-skill new words:online、television、program.

three-skill new words:remote、control、channel.

B、useful expressions:

look like、turn on、search for information、send and receive e-mails、computer games.

C、important drills:

I have no idea!What do you use your computer for doing/to do?

③different uses of computers

④the good points and the bad points of computers

2、能力目标:鼓励并帮助学生训练听、说、读、写四方面的基本技能和基本技巧,培养学生用英语思维的能力,让学生运用所学知识进行语言交际,提高交际能力。

3、情感目标:通过小组讨论,培养学生与他人协作的精神;在学习电脑的广泛用途之后,讨论电脑的缺点及对人们尤其是对青少年的危害,在拓展学生视野的同时,加强思想品质教育。

4、学习策略:认知策略,积极思考,注意方法规律,适时自我调控,学会反思。

四、教学重点、难点设计

重点:本课四会生词、短语及句型;对学生听说读写四项技能和技巧的点拨。

难点:引导学生运用当堂所学知识进行特定语境下的语言交际。

五、教法和学法设计

教法:任务型教学(Task-based approach);情景交际法(Situation approach)。

学法:知识的感知、理解、保持和运用、合作、自主探究。

六、教学媒体及教具设计

多媒体课件、录音机、课堂练习材料等。

七、教学过程设计

Step 1:Leading in and presentation

1、Enjoy some pictures of interesting places all over the world .

2、Talk about travelling. Help the students answer the following questions:①Do you like travelling? Why? ②How do you usually travel? Encourage the students to say out their ideas. Then tell the students traveling may cost much money and time. If we don’t have enough money and time,how can we travel?Help the students answer:Travel online.

3、Present Part A:Different uses of computers with some pictures and a short movie.

searching for information;chatting with friends online;drawing and designing;doing word processing;writing computer programs;seeing a film;sending and receiving e-mails;

设计依据:以学生感兴趣的话题为切入口,引出本单元课题Online Travel,寓教于乐,激发学生灵感,促使学生积极思维并灵活使用所学语言知识,以小组形式对旅游话题展开讨论,使学生自然而然进入学习状态。

Step 2:Practice

1、P ractice Part A. Learn the useful expressions about different uses of computers using media tools.

2、Write the correct deions under the pictures in Part A.

3、Help the students ask and answer questions like this:What can I/you use my computer for doing/to do? You/I can use it to do/for doing. First I ask:“What can I use my computers to do?”and let the students answer. Then change,help the students ask:“What can you use your computer for doing?”.At last encourage the students to ask and answer in pairs.

4、Encourage the students to say out more uses of computers.

设计依据:以图文并茂的形式,教师循序渐进地引导学生问答,把电脑的不同功能灵活地放在句型中操练,帮助学生及时消化巩固所学内容;鼓励学生说出电脑的其它用途,训练学生的扩散性思维。

Step 3:Practice

1、Read Daniel and Simon’s conversation in Part B.

2、Practice in pairs

3、Make up similar dialogues. Replace the underlined words with the students’ own information.

4、Discuss what the students’ friends、parents and teachers use computers to do.

设计依据:根据启、读、练、知相结合的原则,在掌握关于电脑的用途后,把对话中的句型呈现在屏幕上,组织学生先听、读、说、演,环环相扣,体现以学生为主体的精神,变被动学习为主动学习。

Step 4:Presentation

1、Present some new words and phrases with pictures:television、remote control、channel、Then let the students read and spell these new words. When I teach the difficult sentence:Look!The TV is turned on now. I say I want to watch TV,let me turn on the TV,Look!I’m turning on the TV. The TV is turned on now.

2、Present the Comic strip. Show the students the pictures of the comic strip. Help the students to say out the words according to Eddie’s and Hobo’s actions.

设计依据:采用形象生动的多媒体教学,做到声画同步、情景交融,有利于教师逐个分析难点、突破重点,提高学生理解和记忆的效果。

Step 5:Practice

1、Listening to the tape and answer the question:What does Eddie think this(a mouse)is? Help the students answer:He thinks it’s the remote control.

2、Read the dialogue and answer three questions:①Have Hobo and Eddie ever seen a computer?②What does Eddie think the mouse is?③What’re the differences between the mouse and the remote control?

3、Read after the tape

4、Go over the dialogue together,looking at the pictures.

设计依据:通过听和读的训练,加强学生理解和记忆语言知识。

Step 6:Consolidation

1、Go over the dialogue together. Read the dialogue after the teacher.

2、Practice in pairs

3、Read the dialogue frequently and act it out

4、Do some exercises:

A:Translation

1)We can use computers to design (设计).

2)We can use computers for searching for information (查信息).

3)We can use computers to receive and send e-mails (收发电子邮件).

4)We can use computers for drawing (画图).

5)We can use computers to listen to music (听音乐).

6)It looks like (看起来像)a television.

7)The TV is turned on (打开)now.

B:Complete a dialogue

You:Eddie,do you have any trouble?

Eddie:Yes,can you help me please?

You:OK!

Eddie:What’s the matter? There aren’t any c hannels on this TV.

You:Oh,it’s not a TV,it’s a c omputer.

Eddie:What?A computer!I have no idea about it. But it really looks like a TV. That means it’s not a remote c ontrol.

You:Sure,it is called mouse.

Eddie:Oh,it’s so b oring. I can’t watch any TV plays on it.

You:No,you are wrong. It’s i nteresting. You can have a great fun with it.

C:Complete a passage

The computer is a useful(use)machine. Today computer is used(use)in many ways. For example,much information stored (store),computer games played(play),E-mail sent(send)

and received (receive)and so on.

Now computers are getting smaller(small)and smaller(small),but computing faster and faster. Many people agree that computers can do many things but they can’t do everything. Who knows what computers will be like(like)in the future?Will computers bring good things or bad things to people?Today people will have to decide how to use(use)the computer of tomorrow.

设计依据:在巩固当堂所学内容时,“读”是基本,“练”是运用。先口头训练后笔头练习,降低难度,让学生在课堂上做必要的练习,基本做到当堂理解、消化和巩固,练习由易到难;同时为了给尖子生一个展示才能的平台,我特地编排了一篇关于电脑的短文,用单词的适当形式填空。及时反馈教学效果,教师做好课堂调控。

Step 7:Discussion

Discuss the bad points of computers. Some ideas:①Playing computer games too much is bad for health.②They don’t like lessons any more and so on.

设计依据:让学生讨论电脑的缺点,提醒学生要趋利避害,不要沉溺网络游戏。在培养学生团队合作精神的同时,训练口头语言表达能力,提高学生运用英语思维的能力。

Step 8:Writing

Write a passage about the bad points of computers.

设计依据:在口头讨论的基础上,让学生整理素材,写成作文,这是水到渠成的事,许多学生不擅长英文写作,平时教师要注意多加引导。

Step 9:Showing the main task of the unit

Ask:What is the main task of the unit? Then tell the students the answer:Write an article about your favourite educational CD-ROM.

设计依据:本套教材在第一课时就向学生呈现整个单元的主要任务,同一单元的知识体系存在着特定的内在联系,有利于学生更好地全面把握该单元的重点、难点,帮助学生建立知识之间的因果、从属等结构体系。

Step 10:Summary

设计依据:教师简明扼要地归纳总结课堂所讲内容,再次突出重点、梳理知识结构,培养学生的总结概括能力、鼓励学生勤学好问。

Step 11:Homework

1、Learn the four-skill new words and phrases by heart

2、Write a passage about the good points and the bad points of computers.

3、Preview the reading part in this unit.

八、教学反思:

1、课堂开讲方式很重要,好的开头等于成功的一半,导入教学的目的在于激活学会生的学习意识,让学生以积极的心理状态投入到新知识的学习中。

2、教师要根据教学内容合理使用教具,把多媒体、投影仪等电化教学手段与实物图片等传统教具有机结合起来。发挥各种教具的特长,形象直观地呈现抽象的语言要点,学生感知鲜明,印象深刻,便于学生理解和记忆,从而取得良好的教学效果。

3、教师要处理好课堂“预设”和“生成”的关系,重视“生成性”资源的利用,同时注重对教学过程的有效调控。教学目的是让学生理解掌握知识,而不是教师按照自己的设计完成教学步骤,学生已懂的知识教师点到为止,学生不懂的知识,教师要设计形式多样的方式反复巩固,直到学生理解、会运用为止。
