合理的社会分层与和谐社会建设 摘要：作为社会主体——人，人与人的和谐也是“和谐”问题重要的组成部分。和谐社会的基本内涵应该包括社会主体自身的自主与和谐发展，社会各阶层和不同利益群体的诉求的合理实现。可以说，和谐社会的主要基础就是社会各阶层的和谐。 关键词：社会分层，和谐社会建设 一、中国社会分层现状 1.现今“金字塔”形分层结构不利于我国社会发展 概括而言，目前我国社会分层结构呈现“金字塔”形。“金字塔”形是一种底层大、中层小的分层结构模型，它的出现与我国经济发展模式密切相关。过去，我国是一个贫穷落后的农业国家，人口基数大，所以一直以来社会下层人士占总人口的多数。随着改革开放，市场经济体制形成，邓小平同志提出的“允许一部分人先富”、“先富带动后富”等一系列国家政策，我国经济状况有了极大的改善。但是由于过去政策倾向于注重效率，进而导致我国贫富差距越来越大。但是，像这样的大量农村人口的社会分层结构不利于社会的繁荣发展，与和谐社会的理念也背道而驰。参考西方社会分层结构，可以说“橄榄”形或“纺锤”形是当前最理想的社会分层结构。按照马克思关于阶级和阶层的理论所言，以资本私有化为核心形成的各种社会关系是现代资本主义社会不平等的根源，各阶级具有敌对的一面，发展到一定阶段必然采取阶级斗争的形式。现在，与马克思所处时代相比，西方阶级状况发生明显变化，科技进步，生活水平提高，教育普及化给予下层成员向上流动的机会，“新中间阶层”的出现和发展构成了稳定社会的重要平衡机制，这一系列的现象在一定程度上缓和阶级对立。可以说，“橄榄”形的社会分层结构为资本主义社会发展提供了稳定的大环境。 对于“橄榄”形或是“纺锤”形的社会分层结构，我们应该仔细研究，对照我国实际情况，去粗取精，改变我国“金字塔”形分层结构，为和谐社会的建设和发展提供稳定环境。 2.我国中间阶层现状及特点 “橄榄”形结构是中间大，两头小。中间阶层是形成“橄榄”形结构的核心。现如今，我国“中间阶层”初见端倪，一些模糊的“中间阶层”已出现在我们身边，但是与西方发达国家相比，我国“中间阶层”不论是从人数还是质量上都远远不如。不难看出，中间阶层是国家政治、经济、文化、社会发展的主导力量。参照西方发展经验，中间阶层能够缓和社会利益调整中的社会矛盾，稳定社会。它具有“贫富分化及社会利益冲突的缓冲功能”、“社会地位公正获得的示范功能”和“社会主义市场经济及现代性社会价值观的行为示范功能”等社会功能。二、扩大中间阶层，形成合理、和谐的社会分层结构 虽然与西方发达国家相比，我国的中间阶层还是处于起步阶段，但是不难看出我国中间阶层发展非常具有潜力，新中间阶层的崛起正说明了这个问题。为了能形成更合理的社会分层结构，我们可以从多个方面入手，扩大中间阶层，形成“橄榄”形分层结构。那么，应该如何扩大中间阶层呢？针对我国中间阶层的特点，可以从以下三个方面入手： 1.建立健全顺畅、公平的社会流动机制。从社会学角度来看，社会流动指的是人们在社会关系空间中从一个地位向另一个地位的移动。社会分层结构是一种冲突性社会结构，但是冲突性社会结构并非必然导致显示的社会冲突。在不可能完全消灭社会分层现象的情况下，实行合理的社会流动是缓解社会分层的主要方法之一。 2.通过发展教育和科技来壮大中间阶层。在国外，白领的生活及其成功模式中，个人生涯中教育所占的比例成了决定他整个职业命运的关键因素。可以看到，现代社会，不论西方发达国家还是我国，中间阶层的一个共同的特点就是受过良好的教育，拥有一定的知识技能。所以，要想扩大中间阶层，绝不能忽略教育和科技的力量。一方面，加快教育体制改革，动员全社会力量，发展各级各类教育，特别是发展高级职业教育和高等教育，提高国民教育水平，扩大新中间阶层得以发展壮大的社会基础；另一方面，加快科技体制改革，加大政府财政对科研的投入力度，走科、教、研相
