Just before I was going to finish this article,I attended a lecture that helped me to figure out my answer to the question above.

The lecturer，Miss Zhu,who impressed the audience with her inspiring confidence and enthusiasm,is now in charge of a large beauty parlor enterprise. She shared with us her abundant life stories which included the experiences as a nurse,a journalist and a businesswoman.As a nurse in the intensive care unit of a hospital,she once saved a patient who was then in the edge of death during the doctor’s absence.As the founder and the leader of the enterprise,she did her endeavor to improve her stuffs’living conditions and help them to realize their dreams.As a mother,with her great wisdom and courage,she set an good example for her son,who is admitted by a famous university in America.

She is the exact kind of heroine that I want to be.

I’m not talking about her achievements or wealthy,what I’m referring to is her sense of responsibility.From her speech,it wasn’t hard to find that almost all of her achievement motivations were based on her strong sense of responsibility. Whenever she was confronted with difficulties,she would reminded herself of the responsibilities she was taking and regained the power to keep going.

From where I stand,responsibility is one of the most crucial factors that make of a hero.Anyone who is willing to take his or her responsibility for others can be defined as a hero or a heroine.And the reason that I want to be a heroine lies in my willingness to take responsibilities.So much love and help have I received from my family and friends that I can’t wait to do something for them. It’s my responsibility to bring happiness and a better life to them with my own efforts.What’s more,as a contemporary college student,I feel obligated to make my contribution to the society and to make the world a little bit nicer because of me.Though I have done some voluntary work during my spare time,I am eager to do more and to do better.

As far as I am concerned,responsibility shouldn’t be regarded as a heavy

burden.I believe the ability to take responsibilities is the symbol of one’s maturity.All in all,I want to be a heroine and to take responsibilities to try my best to improve the lives of people around me.
