Midterm Exam

Midterm Exam Instructions:

?Each student draws a card from the deck which corresponds to a question in the list above. The teacher asks the student the chosen question. The student has 2-3 minutes to talk about his/her thoughts and ideas related to the question. The student is allowed to first think of a response before starting.

Midterm Exam Grading Guidelines:

?Fluency (how comfortable one can speak English)

o Smoothness and fluidity of speech

o Pronunciation

o No pauses

?Accuracy (how well the rules of English are followed)

o Grammar

o Vocabulary

o Comprehension/Staying on topic
