二教学目标:

1)认知目标:

a.能够听、说、认、读与爱好有关的英文表达:

What are Peter’s hobbies? He likes reading stories. He also likes singing .

b.了解对话大意,能按正确的意群及语音,语调朗读对话。

2)能力目标:能够在实际语境中运用以下句型:

What are …’ hobbies? He/She likes…交流相关内容。

3)情感目标:培养通过了解对方的兴趣爱好结交朋友的意识。

三教学重点:

能够在实际语境中运用有关爱好的问答句:What are …’ hobbies? He /She likes…四教学难点:

学生能够大胆创编和表演询问和描述他人兴趣、爱好的小对话.

五教学过程:

Step 1 Preparation

1 Greeting

2 Free talk

T: Children, nice to see you. This class we’ll learn Unit 4 I have a pen pal

A Let’s learn. Ready?

Ss: Yes.

T: First, let me introduce myself to you. I’m Miss Zhu. My English name is Jasmine.

(设计意图:在自由交流中,渗透新的语言点Jasmine.)

T:I like the Chinese song” Jasmine flower.”I like singing. It’s my hobby.

Ss: Hobby, hobby.

T: I also like making friends. They are my hobbies.

(设计意图:在自由交流中,渗透新的语言点hobby\hobbies.)

T: What are your hobbies?

Ss: I like…

Step 2 Presentation

Let’s try

T: You know, I like singing and making friends. Look, I have so many friends.

Lily is one of my friend. She is my pen pal. The pen pal is a kind of friends.

T: I have a pen pal, Lily. Zhang Peng also has a pen pal. He is Peter.

Now, Zhang Peng is talking with Oliver about Peter. Listen and tick or cross.

Ss: Listen and write the answers.

T: Check.

T: We know, Peter is tall. He likes playing basketball. Do you want to know more about him?

Ss: Yes.

1 Watch, Listen and choose.

学生通过看视频,听短文,选出Peter的爱好,整体感知短文。

2Teach:What are Peter’s hobbies? He likes reading stories.

T: Look carefully. What are Peter’s hobbies?

Ss: He like reading stories.

(教师问,学生回答,教授句子:He like reading stories.)

T: Ask me , please.

Ss: What are Peter’s hobbies?

T: He like reading stories.

(学生问,教师回答。教授句子:What are Peter’s hobbies?)

3:Teach: doing kung fu 、swimming

T: Peter likes reading stories. What else? Listen carefully, What are Peter’s hobbies?

Ss: (Listen and answer) He likes doing kung fu and swimming.

4: Teach: singing

T: What else? What are Peter’s hobbies? Look.

Ss: He likes singing.

T: Peter has many hobbies. I can say, he also likes singing. What are Peter’s hobbies?

Ss: He also likes singing.

5:Teach: He lives on a farm. He reads to the cows.

T: What are Peter’s hobbies? Filled in the blanks.

(通过填充空白,让学生自己找到动词live, read在三单后的变化)

教师利用PPT,出示一组体现男士的业余爱好的图片,教授:What are his hobbies? He likes…同时出示一组体现女士的业余爱好的图片,教授:What are her hobbies? She likes…

J: Hi, Chen Jie. I have a new pen pal. His name is Ben.

C: Hi, John. What are his hobbies?

J: He likes reading stories and swimming.

C: I like reading stories and swimming.

J: Yes. You also like singing. I know, Ben likes singing, too. He likes singing English songs.

C: Can I make friends with him?

J: Sure. May be he can teach you some English songs.

C: That’s interesting.

2 Summary

.We know, Zhang Peng is gong to teach Peter the Chinese song. Ben is gong to teach Chen Jie some English songs. We need some friends like Zhang Peng or Ben. They can help us. So, I hope you have more hobbies and make more friends!
