(2)classmate 是可数名词,意为“同班同学”

(1)often副词,意为“经常”。Often是一个表示频度的副词,通常位于助动词,连系动词be、情态动词之后,实义动词之前。

(3)after school 意为“放学后”。after此处用作介词,意为“在。。。之后”,通常指时间上的以后。

(1)likes是动词like的第三人称单数形式。在含有实义动词做谓语的一般现在时态的句子

中,如果主语是第三人称单数,那么谓语也要用第三人称单数形式。

Her mother loves animals very much.她母亲非常喜爱动物。

注意:大多数动词在词尾加“-s”构成第三人称单数形式。但have的第三人称单数形式是has。

(2)music名词,意为“音乐,乐曲”,是不可数名词。

7. He is from Nanjing.他来自南京。

be from 意为“来自;是。。。。。。(地方的)人”,相当于come from,其后接表示地点的名词。Nick is from England.=Nick comes from England.尼克来自英国。

Mr Wang is from Jiangsu.= Mr Wang comes from Jiangsu.王先生是江苏人。

8. He is good at Maths.他擅长数学。

be good at 意为“擅长。。。。。”,at是介词,后面可接名词、代词、动名词。be good at 相当于do well in。

I’m good at music.我擅长音乐。

Tom is good at playing basketball.汤姆擅长打篮球。

拓展:be good for意为“对。。。。有益”。

Taking exercise is good for you. 锻炼对你有益。

in G rade 7意为“在七年级”。注意:该短语中的G rade与数字构成专有名词,首字母必须大写,但对G rade 7中的7提问则用what grade,此时grade的首字母不用大写。类似的对Class 1 中的1 提问用what class.
