Book title：King Lear Author：William Shakespeare As one of Shakespeare…s four famous tragedies, King Lear proclaims what is the humanistic beauty and ugly. Just like some famous fairy tale, there is a perfect princess. Compared to that, there are several ignoble characters such as Goneril and Regan. The youngest daughter of Lear, Cordelia has showed her beauteous personality. And I think comparing with the death of Hamlet, her death seems to be more noble but sadder. “King Lear”was written in about 1605, based on an old British folk legend widely knows.

As a king, he was arrogant that everyone should flatter him, and no one could object to others in an authoritative or joking tone. Generil and Regan, they were honey-mouthed and dagger-hearted. The honest, kind-hearted, sincere youngest daughter Cordelia, what she got was nothing but curse from father, Lear was so fatuous or foolish.

What I have learnt from the book is the tragedy of King Lear is not only the elderly tragedy, but even whole generations of the society tragedy. In Shakespeare's "King Lear", in the nature of sense and sensibility in different characters have different embodiment. Edmond was the embodiment of pure reason, Lear is known as emotional ，Cordelia is a model of the combination of them. From these three kinds of people, we see the evil and emotional disaster reason as well as the bril. Lear for the overreaction to Cordelia replies to the ridiculous, childish, but very user-friendly. In conclusion, Cordelia as the most beautiful

person in this play, then she causes me to think a lot about love. Love is the most valuable thing in this word, especially when people are in trouble.

Although the story is in the distant ancient, but in our real life we also have too many such examples.
