Currently, campuses of many famous universities are becoming one of the popular tourist attractions. It is reported that more and more people enjoy their holidays by visiting famous universities, such as Tsinghua University and Peking University.

This phenomenon has exerted heated debates concerning whether university campus should be open to tourists. They indicate that people’s opinions vary in a big way. Some people believe that it is a good thing to open university campuses to tourists while others argue that it is not.

Personally speaking, I’m in favor of campus tourism. For one thing, tourist may derive lots of enjoyment from the beautiful scenes of famous universities .For another, the strong academic atmosphere may motivate tourists, particularly students, to work hard and persevere with their dreams. Moreover, for famous universities, being open to tourists may serve as an effective approach to attract talents from all over the country.
