本单元以全球化为话题,从同学们对全球化的认识入手,通过同学们阅读他们所熟悉的国际大都市:北京所发生的翻天覆地的变化的文章,去体会全球化的意义。在全球化的历程中,英语显得尤为重要,鼓励同学们找到适合自己的方法,从而提高自己的英语水平也是本单元的目的所在。同学们通过对全球化利弊的讨论,更深刻的理解全球化影响,从而教育同学们应该去更好的理解和把握全球化,尽我们的努力去发展其优势、规避其负面影响。
