The study is significant in that a clear understanding of the American democracy export can be achieved by analyzing American discourse construction. A pattern, that America uses it to overawe others by occupying the highest point of the public opinion in diplomatic activities, can be shown in this paper.

The paper is meaningful also in that it provides references for China to construct its own discourse power, which would benefit China’s peaceful rise. Through keeping its essence and discarding its dross, China can borrow ideas from the successful experiences of American discourse hegemony building, and realize the defects existing in discourse construction progress. Meanwhile, by reintegrating resources, China can find ways to build discourse power that meet its own national conditions.

A growing number of oriental images of Hollywood have penetrating into our market. It seems that people prefer to watch those Hollywood films with the characters of oriental visages. Nevertheless, few people could recognize the ideologies and the values of America behind those films, much less to realize that it is in fact the cultural invasion. This paper could bring us such advantages, for resisting the cultural invasion of the U.S., as better recognizing the means of cultural invasion of the western films, acquainting us the concept of cultural invasion and heighten our awareness of the invasion if we try to dissect those oriental images of Hollywood from a dimension of cultural invasion. Furthermore, it could bring us a further understanding of the culture hegemony of the U.S. if we attempt to analyze those oriental images in that angle.

Since the number and importance of females employees are both increasing, the top priority is to encourage their work passion and motives for achievement in order to make the biggest profits. Therefore, it’s of great importance to have a deep study of the relationship between achievement motivation and American wo men’s career development.

In short, the analysis of working women’s achievement motivation will contribute to a better understanding of reasons for lower female achievement motivation. This paper is expected to be good references for measures to promote female achievement motivation.
