2. What should she do? 她该怎么办呢?

You should lie down and rest 你应该躺下休息。

情态动词should 的用法:

(1)作情态动词用时,表示责任和义务,常泽成“应当、应该”;否定形式:shouldn’t 主语+ should/shouldn’t + 动词原形. ..

如:You should lie down and rest. 你应该躺下休息一会儿。

You shouldn’ t go out at ni ght. 你晚上不应该出去。

(2)should 与how、why、what 等词连用时,多表达惊讶、意外等情绪。

2.the driver saw an old man lying on the side of the road. 那位司机看到一位老人正躺在马路的一边。

Saw an old man lying …属于see sb doing sth的结构,意为“看到某人正在做某事”。

如:I saw him walking across the street 我看到他正过马路。

See sb do sth看到某人经常做某事或做某事的全过程。

如:I saw you play the game. 我看现你玩游戏(指玩游戏的全过程)

类似的感官动词有:watch hear listen to notice.

(1)get off 意为“下车”,反义词get on 上车;get on 还有“相处”的意思。

(2)get on / along well with 与……和睦相处。

(1)hurt 是动词,意为“受伤、(使)疼痛”,过去式也是hurt。

(2)himself 是反身代词,意为“他自己”。第一、二人称的反身代词是由物主代词加-self(单数),

(单数),-selves(复数)构成。

Interest 作名词,意为“兴趣”;interesting 作形容词,意为“有趣的”,修饰事或物;

Interested 作形容词,意为“感兴趣的”,修饰人。

3.As a mountain climber, Aron is used to taking risks . 作为一名登山员,Aron 习惯了冒险。

(1)be used to 意为“习惯于”,其后若跟动词,要用动词的-ing形式。

如:they are used to living in the big city 他们都习惯于住在大城市。

(2)take risks =take a risk 意为“冒险”.

如:he risked his life to save her. 他冒着生命危险去救他。
