教学设计

Teaching aims:

1、Catch the key points from the listening materials

2、Know the history of Chinese kites and retell it with the help of some pictures

3、Learn to talk about a day out and share opinions with others

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in

Boys and girls, we have learned some outdoor activities, look at the pictures and guess : Which outdoor activities is it?(ppt.)

Step 2 Presentation

Task 1 Free talk

1、Answer the questions

◆Do you like outdoor activities?

◆What outdoor activity do you often do?

◆Do you like flying kites?

◆Where do you often fly your kites?

◆What’s your kite made of?

◆What does your kite look like?

2、Here are some different kites, can you tell me what they look like.(ppt.) Task 2 Listening

1、Listen to their conv ersation and write the students’names under their kites.

2、Check the answers

Task3 Learn the history of kites

Now flying kites is a very popular activity around the world. Do you want to know the history of kites? Who made the first kite?

Here are some famous people in history. Do you know them? (ppt.) Mozi: In the Warring States period(战国时期), Mozi made a bird out of wood. That was the first kite in history.

Lu Ban: Lu Ban was Mozi’s student. He used bamboo to make kites.

Cai Lun : In the Eastern Han dynasty(东汉王朝), Cai Lun found a new way to make paper. Then people began to use paper to make kites.

Marco Polo : In the 13th century(十三世纪),Marco Polo, an Italian man,

visited China. He told people in the West all about kites.

(Show the pictures of the four people and present the new words and phrases.)

教学反思:

本课为Integrated skills板块。这个板块的设置是很好的,能够对学生的听说读写的能力进行综合训练,按照课本的思路层层深入,一环套一环。

这一课的听力部分是讲述风筝的历史。我一开始就通过复习一些课外活动,以及各种形状的风筝的图片吸引学生的注意力,提高他们的学习兴趣,学生们的积极性很高,再自然过渡到风筝的历史。这部分有些生词比较难读,课前预习时,我虽然做了一些铺垫,但是还是有部分学生读得不太准,还要再花一些时间,Speak up部分,先听录音,然后模仿准确的语音语调大声朗读,然后补充一些学生自己操练时可能需要用到的语言知识或材料,接着让学生分组自由操练,选三组学生进行表演,老师和同学们给予点评。当然教完这节课后,我发现时间有些仓促,有些基础比较差的学生不能积极参与,在以后的教学中要多关注。
