One morning, Ann’s neighbor Tracy found a lost dog walking aroun d the local junior right school. She asked Ann if she could keep an eye on the dog. Ann said that she could watch it only for the day.

In Canada, children can attend their local public school for free, as paid for by tax dollars. However, some parents choose to send their kids to private schools instead of public schools, believing that they are offering their children a better education. So what are the differences between private and public schools in Canada?

On the one hand, when you send your child to the local public schools, he’ll be attending school with anyone, with different abilities or personalities. This can be good but parents who wish to focus their children in a certain direction will find that private schools give them that chance. However, private schools have admission（入学）requirements. Students may have to meet a set of behavior standards. On the other hand, both public and private school students have to take standardized（标准化的）tests. Canadian private school students usually do better than public school students in the tests. However, this may have much to do with the number of the students as well as quality of education.

So which is the best choice for your family? Only you can decide that. Private school provides an excellent environment for your child if he wants to go to college someday, and private education allows you to avoid some of the problems with Canada’s public schools, but it’s very expensive. Advice for Cooking on a Tight Schedule

From my experience, there are three main reasons why people don’t cook more often: ability, money, and time. 26 Money is a topic that I’ll talk about another day. So today I want to give you some advice about how to make the most of the time in the kitchen. Here are three tips for great cooking on a tight schedule:
