1教学目标

By the end of the lesson, students are expected to

Pronounce and unders tand new words and phrases, such as greedy, hut, although, with the help of the pictures and the context.

Get the general idea of the story and the specific information of three wishes and the replies. Form a new view on happiness.

2学情分析

通过一年多的初中英语学习,大部分学生具备了基础的英语表达能力,对老师的课堂用语能够比较自如的理解,并就所给指令作出正确的回应。有部分同学还显示出教强的英语阅读,理解,会话能力。在这堂课上,要解决一个句型问题外,还要逐步培养大部分同学的会话能力。培养学生对课文逐层分析,层层递进的习惯
