Try squats, push-ups, and arm reaches. Work toward a goal of exercising for one hour, five times a week.

For those with no particular health concerns, a program of moderate walking and strength training is a safe way to go. Those who have heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, or other muscle or bone problems should talk to a doctor before starting. The other remedy is planting trees, protecting agricultural land from being used for purposes other than planting crops, checking exploitation of natural resources such as ground water, devising ways and means to preserve, conserve and replenish what we take away from Mother Nature.

中南大学大学英语水平等级考试大纲 背景： 自1986年以来，中南大学非英语专业的本科生要参加国家大学英语四级考试，成绩合格以后才能获得学位证书。因此学校师生很重视大学英语的教学工作及四级通过率。由于学生的学位证书与国家四级英语成绩挂钩，应试教育也曾占据课堂，学生实际应用英语的能力较弱，毕业后难以应付英语要求较高的外企单位的工作。随着形势的发展，我校根据自己的实际情况，决定从2008级学生开始，学位证书与国家四级成绩脱钩，实行中南大学校内大学英语水平等级考试制度。 我们的思路是高起点，重能力。校内英语水平等级考试参照清华大学、北京大学等重点高校的《大学英语》考试标准，中南大学校内大学英语水平等级考试的目标要高于国家四级考试水平，考试突出测试学生的听说能力，书面表达能力及语言翻译能力等。如今，我校参与国际合作的机会越来越多，学生出国学习的机会也越来越多。如我们有中澳班：本科前两年在国内学习，后两年在澳大利亚学习。部分优秀本科生和研究生也可直接送往国外名牌大学培养。为了满足学生留学的实际需求，适应社会对人才的选拔，实现人才个性化、专业化的培养目标，中南大学校内大学英语水平等级考试的改革势在必行！ 2004年初教育部高教司组织制定并在全国部分高校开始试点《大学英语课程教学要求（试行）》（以下简称《教学要求》）。中南大学是首批试点的180所高校之一。我们实施《教学要求》的规定：“培养学生的英语综合应用能力，特别是听说与写作能力，使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流”。自《教学要求》在我校开始试点以来，广大教师十分关心并积极参加这次改革，在教学模式、教学手段和教材使用等各方面做了许多有益的尝试。参加试点的学生也普遍反映新的教学理念和方法，大大提高了学生学习英语的兴趣，实现了个性化学习，提高了学习的效率。但由于追求四级通过率，学生的语言实际应用能力提高缓慢。 2007年教育部办公厅印发《大学英语课程教学要求》，指出：“大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力，特别是听说能力，使他们在今后学习、工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行交际，同时增强其自主学习能力，提高综合文化素养，以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。”为此，我们决定开设中南大学大学英语水平等级考试，主要考核学生的英语综合能力，同时也测试学生对词汇、语法结构、词语用法、语用语义等的掌握程度。 中南大学大学英语水平等级考试是一种为教学服务的标准化考试。包括本科生的英语入学考试（便于分级教学），期中英语考试，期末英语考试，毕业英语考试，研究生英语考试，英语口语的机器化考试，英语听力理解考试，均以中南大学大学英语考试题库为根据，随机提取各个等级的考卷。因此，中南大学大学英语水平等级考试的方向是保持考试的科学性、客观性和公正性，使考试最大限度地对大学英语教学产生正面的导向作用。即通过校内大学英语的考试，引导师生正确处理教学与考试的关系，更合理地使考试更好地为教学服务，更快地与国际接轨。中南大学大学英语水平等级考试的目标是更因地制宜地测量我校大学生的英语综合应用能力，尤其是英语听说能力，以体现社会改革开放对大学生英语综合应用能力的要求。由于中南大学大学英语水平等级考试是一个大规模的标准化考试，因此考试的设计需前瞻性与可行性相结合，分步实施，既有近期实施方案，又有中长期规划。 中南大学大学英语水平等级考试是基于大学英语分级教学和真正学分制基础上所采取的重要举措。计分体制和成绩报道方式为：笔试成绩占75%，口试成绩占25%，经过一次考试后，根据不同成绩梯队划分档次，A（优秀80分）、B（良好60分）、C（合格40分）、

2017考研专业：模式识别与智能系统 一、专业介绍 1、学科简介 模式识别与智能系统是一门理论与实际紧密结合，具有广泛应用价值的控制科学与工程的重要学科下的二级学科硕士点。模式识别与智能系统是在信号处理、人工智能、控制论、计算机技术等学科基础上发展起来的新型学科。该学科以各种传感器为信息源，以信息处理与模式识别的理论技术为核心，以数学方法与计算机为主要工具，探索对各种媒体信息进行处理、分类、理解并在此基础上构造具有某些智能特性的系统或装置的方法、途径与实现，以提高系统性能。 2、培养目标： 该学科的硕士毕业生应具有坚实的模式识别与智能系统学科的基础理论和系统的专门知识;对于模式识别与智能系统某一研究领域的进展和学术动态有较深的了解;能够熟练利用计算机解决本学科的有关问题;具有从事模式识别与智能系统中的某一研究方向的科学研究或独立担负专门技术工作的能力，并取得有意义的成果;较为熟练地掌握一门外国语。 各招生单位研究方向和考试科目等不尽相同，在此以江苏大学为例： 3、研究方向 1.模式识别及图像处理 2.智能控制与机器人 3.图像处理及图像数据库系统 4.数据挖掘与决策支持系统 4、硕士研究生入学考试科目： ①101政治理论 ②201英语 ③301数学一 ④833自动控制理论(含经典与现代部分)、851数据结构、852通信系统原理选一 二、就业方向 该学科培养的研究生毕业后，可到大、中、小型企业，科技部门，高等院校，金融、电讯单位，政府机关等各行业从事自动化和系统工程相关的科研、开发、设计、研制、生产与管理等工作。 三、职业规划 计算机技术的应用在我国各个领域发展迅速，为了适应知识经济和信息产业发展的需要，操作和应用计算机已成为人们必须掌握的一种基本技能。该专业用到的计算机技术相对较多，可以通过全国计算机等级考试(National Computer Rank Examination，简称NCRE)来获得自己相应水平实力的等级证书。 NCRE是经原国家教育委员会(现教育部)批准，由教育部考试中心主办，面向社会，用于考查应试人员计算机应用知识与能力的全国性计算机水平考试体系。 NCRE每年开考两次，上半年开考一、二、三级，下半年开考一、二、三、四级。上半年考试时间为4月第一个星期六上午(笔试)，下半年考试时间为9月倒数第二个星期六上午(笔试)，上机考试从笔试的当天下午开始。上机考试期限为五天，由考点根据考生数量和设备情况具体安排。 四、推荐院校
