Unit 3 How do you get to school?

话题:谈论怎样到达目的地

教学目标:○1掌握how引导的特殊疑问句;

○2熟练运用介词by+交通工具和take+a/an/the+交通工具

重点:how 引导的特殊疑问句

重点句型:How do you get to school? 你是怎样到学校的?

I ride my bike. 我骑自行车。

How long does it take you to get to school? 你到学校要用多长时间?

How far is it from your home to school? 从你家到学校有多远?

For many students, it is easy to get to school. 对许多学生来说,到达学校是容易的。知识点:

1.How do you get to school? 你是怎样到学校的?

how 疑问副词,如何,怎样,以何种方式,用什么手段。本句用于询问交通方式,其回答方式主要有两种。

○1take a/the+表示交通工具的名词

○2by+表示交通工具的单数名词或on/in+限定词+表示交通工具的名词,是介词短语,作方式状语。

I walk to school./ I get to school on foot. 我步行到学校。

2. take

take the train 乘火车take the +交通工具表示乘坐某种交通工具

take the bus/train/car/boat/plane

常见take固定搭配

take exercise 运动,锻炼take photos 照相,拍照take a seat 坐下

take a walk 散步take a rest 休息take down 取下

take away 拿走take out 拿出

3.hundred

○1当表示具体的“几百”时,用“基数词+hundred”表示。

○2hundreds of表示数百,成百上千的

4.Is this your new bike? 这是你的新自行车吗?

new 形容词,意为“新的,刚出现的”

5.every day

every day 表示某事发生的频率,意为

“每天,天天”在句中作状语

We go to school every day.

everyday 形容词,意为“日常的,普通

的”,在句中作定语I study everyday English every fay.

6.how far is it from your home to school?

how far 多远用来询问距离或路程的远近

常用句型:How far is it from A to B?

How far is B from A?

其答语是It’s …meter(s)/mile(s)/kilometer(s) (away)

---How far is it from the park to the school?

---It’s about 3miles.

当有具体的数字时,应与away from连用。

没有具体的数字时,应与far或near作答。

7.how long

how long多长时间,用以询问某个动作所持续的时间,其谓语动词为延续性动词,答语为表示一段时间的名词性短语。

---How long will we stay there?

---About a week.

when 什么时间问时间what about …怎么样问意见

how 怎么样问情况what day 星期几问星期

who 谁问人what date 什么日期问具体日期whose 谁的问主人how about …怎么样问意见where 在哪里问地点how old 多大问年龄which 哪一个问选择how many 多少(可数名词)问数量why 为什么问原因how much 多少(不可数名词)问价钱what 什么问东西how far 多远问路程

在一般现在时态中,主语为第三人称,谓语动词此时应用第三人称单数形式,在变一般疑问

句时,借助does放在句首,谓语动词还原为原形,变否定句时,在does后面加not,谓语动词还原。

live 不及物动词,意为“居住,生活”

live on sth. 以某物为生

Sheep live on grass. 羊以草为食。

live a …life 过……生活

10.bus stop &bus station

bus stop 指城镇内外的停车点。

bus station 指能停,转车辆的汽车站点。

stop 还可以作动词停下

stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事

stop doing sth. 停止做某事

11.Mary wants to know what he thinks of the trips.

在宾语从句中,从句的语序要用陈述语序,其中疑问词仍在句首。

I don’t know who he is.

She knows where he lives.

Do you know what the weather is like today?

12.cross&across&crossing

cross 动词穿过Let’s cross the road now.

across 介词,副词在……对面,穿过They live just across the road. crossing 名词十字路口Turn left at the first crossing.

13.There is a very big river between their school and the village.

○1There be 表示一种存在的“有”,There be 结构只是表示一种状态也就是一种存在的关系。后多与介词短语的地点状语连用即“某地有某物”。

(概念我们知道之后,就来一块看一下它的句子结构)

句子结构

There be+主语+地点介词短语当然这个介词短语也可以放在句首

There is a book on the desk.

There is a pen on the floor.

there be 与have 的区别

虽然汉语中there be 被翻译成为“有”。但是There be 结构只是表示一种状态也就是一种存在的关系。而have /has 则表示拥有即使一种所属关系也就是“某人用有某物”。

例:

There is a book on the desk.只是表示这本书在桌子上这一状态,而书不是属于桌子的,如果把书放到其它地方,这状态就不存在了。I have a book .则表示这本书是我的,不管这本书在哪里它都是属于我的,这就说明我拥有了这本书,哪怕是别人借走了,它都还是属于我的。这样举例说明让学生很清楚的了解到There be 和have/ has 的区别。

○2between&among

between 用于两者之间,表示双方的关系,只要构成双方关系,不管双方数量多少,都用between.

有固定搭配:between…and…

Remember this is a secret between you and me.

among用于指三个或三个以上的人或物的中间,其宾语可以是复数的名词或代词,也可以是集合名词。

14.11-year-old boy

year为可数名词,意为“年,岁”

11-year-old是一个符合形容词,作定语,修饰名词boy 意为“十一岁的”

11-year-old=11 years old

15.afraid

固定搭配:

be afraid of sth. 害怕某事

be afraid of doing sth. 惟恐做某事,指担心或担忧做某事会引起某种后果。

be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事

be afraid that 从句恐怕

I’m afraid 为某件事已经发生或可能发生的事表示歉意或作出否定判断,相当于sorry.

16.love

love to do sth. 一时的喜欢或暂时性的的具体动作love doing sth. 一贯的喜欢like to do sth. like doing sth. 相同用法

17.like&as

like意为像……一样

He talks to me like my father.

他像父亲那样跟我谈话。

as 意为作为,以……的身份

He talks to me as my father.

他以父亲的身份跟我谈话。

18. have to &must

have to 必须,不

得不表示客观需要

有人称,数,时态变化

don’t/doesn’t have to You don’t have to

must 一定表示说话人主观上的

看法,只有一种形式mustn’t You mustn’t tell him
