七年级英语上Starter Unit 3 Good friends

教材分析:

本单元的话题是“friends”,谈论朋友的一些基本情况。通过听、说、读、写等活动学习“He is my cousin Andy.”“He’s polite and helpful.”“Are you…?”等句型及掌握动词be和人称代词的搭配用法,着重培养学生获得英语基础知识和运用语言进行交际的能力。本课时为本单元的第一课时,学习运用形容词来描述朋友,语法涉及到动词be 和人称代词的搭配用法。

教学目标:

语言目标:词汇:big, small, tall, short, thin, slim, pretty, strong, we, they 句型:I’m short. You’re tall. She’s pretty. He’s strong.

It’s big. It’s small. We are slim. They are thin.

技能目标:1. 能够从高矮胖瘦来描述自己或他人

2. 能够初步描述物体的特征

情感目标: 通过本节课的学习, 使学生能正确的描述自己或他人,能正确对待自己或他人身材特征的缺陷, 不讥笑讽刺他人,不给同学起带有身材特征的缺陷性质的外

号等, 引导他们理解、宽容和尊重他人。

教学重点和难点:人称代词和动词be的搭配及运用

课前准备:

教师准备:大、小玩具若干个;体现人物身材特征的图片若干张;家庭照片;录音机;小黑板;小磁铁等;听力练习学生卷;

学生准备:体现人物身材特征的图片若干张;家庭照片;明星照片数张等。

教学过程设计:

Step 1 Revision

借助实物和图片复习句型“What’s it? It’s a photo/a dog/a cat。”复习人称代词it。学生进行两两问答。

Step 2 Presentation and drill

1.教师用一大一小玩具来教学单词big, small 和句型It’s big. It’s small. 示范单

词和句型的读音。

2.要求学生跟读单词和句型。可以进行比赛,看一看哪个学生或哪个小组读得更好。

3.教师指着一小个子学生和一大个子学生导入句型She’s small. He’s big. 要求学生

跟读。

4.教师用同样的方法教学单词tall,short,strong,thin和句型I’m … You’re …

We’re … They’re …等。

5.教师带领学生熟读新单词和句型,并用不同的人称与不同的形容词搭配。可以进行比赛,

看一看哪个学生或哪个小组掌握得更快。

Step 3 Chant

1.教师出示小黑板上的“Chant”句子:I’m short. You’re tall.

She’s pretty. He’s strong.

It’s big. It’s small.

We’re slim. They’re thin.

要求学生先试着轻声朗读一遍。

2.教师示范朗读,学生一边听一边体会英语句子的韵律与节奏。

3.教师带领学生朗读,并且一边击掌一边朗读, 把握好句子节奏。

4.学生练习。然后进行小组比赛,看看哪个组读得好。

Step 4 Listening

1.Pre-listening

教师和学生一起浏览听力练习表格内容,要求学生朗读这些单词。

2.While-listening

放第一遍录音,学生掌握短文大意;放第二遍录音,要求学生边听边勾出答案;放第三遍录音,学生自行检查。

Step 5 Task
