预习要求:

1.听Let’s talk 录音两遍。注意yourself,knife,fork,use和chopsticks的读音。

2.自读Let’s talk对话,将不会读的单词和不理解的句子标出来。

3.结合图片,参照课本P75 翻译下列句子。

4.结合图片,参照单元词汇表,写出下列单词的汉语意思,并听录音跟读单词3遍。

教学过程:

一、热身(Warm-up)

预习展示:听Let’s talk录音两遍,请学生试着说出本节对话的核心句型是哪一句,学生通过预习可以回答:Would you like a knife and fork?No ,thanks .I can use chopsticks.\ Would you like some soup? Yes ,please.教师板书句子,并请学生根据预习说一说这段对话的意义。同时请学生将不会读的单词拼读出来,教师板书在黑板上以便教读。

二、新课呈现与操练(Presentation and practice)

Let’s talk

1.教师呈现Mike在吴一凡家做客的情景,说:Look! Mike is at Wu Yifan’s home. It’s 6:00 in the afternoon. It’s time for dinner. What’s for dinner? Can you guess?请学生猜吴一凡家准备的佳肴。

2.教师呈现对话中用餐的情景,说:Dinner’s ready!请学生一起说说桌上的佳肴。

3.教师呈现筷子、刀、叉的图片,说:Now Mike is having dinner,What can he use?请学生选择图片,并教学knife and fork和chopsticks.knife的教学可由学生根据发音规则自己拼读,教师提示k不发音,fork中字母组合or发音[??]。chopsticks分音节朗读chop-sticks,并强调这个词要用复数。

4.教师完整播放对话视频,并提问:Can Mike use chopsticks?引导学生回答:Yes,he can use chopsticks.

5.教师再次完整播放对话视频,请学生跟读,引导学生在语境中理解Help yourself.的意义并教学。

1.教师呈现John在吴一凡家做客用餐的情境图,说:Look!Where is John?引导学生回答:He’s at Wu Yifan’s home.

2.请学生看图,教师说:What would Wu Yifan’s mum say to John?引导学生回答:John ,would you like some beef?教师扮演John 回答学生:Yes,please,and pass me the knife and fork ,please.做出从学生处拿刀叉状,边说Thanks.边模拟用刀叉吃肉的动作。

3.教学kinfe和fork的读音。让学生了解右手拿刀左手拿叉的方法,边说边做动作:Use a knife. Use a fork. Have some beef.

4.教师引导学生观察吴一凡用餐的图片,说:What does Wu Yifan use?Knife and fork?

学生回答:No,he use chopsticks.进一步教读chopsticks,引导学生说唱:Use chopsticks .Have some rice\noodles\vegetables\beef.

5.教师呈现勺子和汤的图片,说:Use what? Have some soup.引导学生拼读出spoon,教学spoon的读音,在oo下划线,强调[u:]的发音,并复习noodles,food,soup的发音,总结发音规则。

6.教师呈现沙拉的图片,问What’s this?然后板书salad,说Today let’s make a salad.

7.教师将课前准备好只做沙拉的材料和餐具放在一个盒子里,请一名学生拿着盒子辅助自己。教师说:Pass me the vegetables,please.Pass me the knife,please.学生做出相应的动作,教师继续说:Pass me the bowl.呈现单词bowl,并在字母组合ow下划线,指出[?u]的发音,请学生模仿朗读。

1.教师呈现对话中的特价菜谱:Let’s go to a restaurant now.Look !Today’s specials! Soup is 1 yuan,noodles are 3 yuan…引导学生说出六种特价菜。然后教师问一名学生:Here are today’s specials.Would you like some beef?教师逐一询问学生选择哪种特价菜并标记,最后说:OK. …yuan.So cheap!

2.学生仿照教师示例进行游戏,要求互换角色或找新同伴多次练习。

3.游戏——What’s missing?

教师手拿Learn单词卡,请学生逐一朗读,然后抽调一张藏起来,在请学生朗读剩下的单词卡片,看谁先说出藏起来的单词卡片名称?

4.音形义匹配活动:

学生听教材中单词录音,根据听到的顺序给单词标序号,同桌间合作相互朗读并指读单词和图片。

5.同桌互相发Let’s do指令做动作。

1.教师呈现John傍晚在家的图片,说:Look!John is at home.It’s time for dinner.What would he like for dinner?Can you guess?学生猜测食物,教师分类板书单词,并补充完整所有已学的食物类单词。

2.教师拿出食物图片,请学生把图片贴在相应的单词旁边,可以添加salad,Coke,sandwich等西式食物。

3.学生朗读板书内容,并借助图片阅读对话,找到John晚餐想吃的食物:beef and noodles和使用的餐具:chopsticks.完成Tick the pictures you read about in the talk.

4.理解和操练对话中第三幅图片的对话。教师说:We usually use chopsticks for noodles.But John wants to use a knife and fork for noodles .What does his mum say to him?引导学生有感情地读出妈妈的话:Yes,John,but try chopsticks for noodles.

5.教师引导学生用rice和soup替换noodles进行对话。示例如下:Mum,can I have
